What's your Loch Ness Monster of collecting?

I thought it may be interesting to try and solve any myths out there. What is the card/set/item you've heard stories of but have never seen?

eg. Everyone's mate from Rarecollectibles once told me he knows a bloke who has a sealed box of 1963 or 1964 cards. I doubt anything that is said by him is true but I did wonder if it could be a possibility

Its possible but unlikely. Have not even seen an opened empty box of those.

I also have heard rumours of cases of 60's scanlens unopened through the years. I think its an urban myth though!

Surely boxes exist without owners even knowing what they have.

I recently had a half arsed bid on a unopened box of 1992 Regina cards, considering that there were only a handful of cards that collectors are after how the #$%^ can you avoid the temptation of opening up a box of 20 year old cards?.

I have been putting an unopened box and packets away for donkeys years, I never look at them, some people go away on holidays, do superannuation, buy houses, do banking,
etc. I have been collecting ever since I was in ist class in primary school.
I have to much stuff. But still collecting.
have started to offload some spare sets.

yes, have already sold an unopened box of 64 VFL.
