The Great Race: Lakers V Warriors​

So as most of you would know I have recently added the Warriors to my team collecting due to the difficulty in trading for Wolves I need these days. As some of you may also know Aussielaker's son is urging him along in building a Lakers collection, and as Dave and I chat regularly about basketball and what we are doing hobby wise, we I decided it would be fun to make it a bit of a race.​

The first milestone is 1000 different cards, with the lofty goal to include 100 different jersey cards and at least 50 autos. This might be the tough part for me heh heh. Now Dave does have a bit of an advantage funding wise, but that doesn't mean I am not prepared to do everything I can to make this entertaining. Plus I do have organisation on my side, I could win purely for being organised enough to be the first to prove it ​

Tough one, I think collecting Lakers would have the slight advantage cause I suspect there are more cards released in Lakers uniform than Warriors uniform ie the recent Kobe Anthology.... However, nobody collects the Warriors so you might get a shit load of unwanted cards.

Haven't counted in a while... 'round about 100 base/insert about 20 GU/Patch and 71 Autos

Will do.

The base/insert count was well over 2000 before I sold it all off to another Nuggets collector when I decided to focus solely on autos. But have been picking up others here and there lol

Well not so much sold as gave it to a young collector who I brain washed to love the Nuggets...

Yeah but the 100 gu/50 Auto qualification could be my biggest hurdle lol

I am not sure who is going to win , but I reckon I have more than 1000 blank filler cards, some of which are very rare eg. 1/1 blank autos, patches...

All Lakers and all Warriors cards past and present? Lakers is a shoe in to win in a landslide if he really wanted to buy bulk lots lol...having said that, if either of you guys are looking for Warriors or Lakers stuff, hit me a PM and I'll rummage through my cards and work out something..
