Do we have our 8 participants now and are we all in for $50 each ?? If Jaames is in and picks his second team, I think we call this closed ??
That gives us $400 to play with. I'll drop Al a line and see what he currently has, or has access to, box wise. What do we think - 3 boxes ? Maybe two aound the $100 and one a bit more ?Rememebr that Al will need something out of all this, he might just build his costs, postage etc into the box price, I'm not sure.
Personally I'd like that we all get a good number of cards each, so I'd be avoiding the one pack 8 cards for $200 deal...at least in this break... Maybe we could all suggest 3 products we'd like and whichever ones get the most votes that Al can get/has are what we go with ?

If Jaames is keen and we are all happy with $50 each I think we could get 3-4 boxes looking at the prices Al has. I am not too fussed with the boxes in general but like you say would rather a box that has more than one pack as such.
Al has 3 different boxes under "Single Person Breaks" all around the $100/box mark in 2012 Inception @ $92 (only one pack per box though), 2012 Platinum @ $95 (my preference from the 3) and 2012 Finest @ $104.
I am personally a fan of 2012 Elite and 2012 Certified just came out last couple days ($100 at dacardworld which has 10 packs with 4 Auto/Mem, 3 Mirror Parrellels and 1 New Generation Rookie per box).
I was thinking we could do 1-2 boxes of 2012 and a box of 2011 also. That way the teams with the better hits is spread out even more.
I've fired off an email to Al asking what product he has in stock or coming in and if he has access to other stuff he may not be breaking at present. Also gave him a rough outline of what we've come up with as he might have suggestions... Will post his reply when it comes.

Looks like this is coming together... are you able to tell me what football boxes you currently have available or coming in - or do you have access to most product ? It's looking like a 3 or 4 box break with 8 guys choosing 2 teams and the remainder 16 teams randomed out amongst the 8. Still confirming some things but we've limited each guys spend to $50, so $400 all up. They'll have to join your site as each member will pay you via paypal ( I think most have already joined up anyway) and their cards will need to be mailed directly to each member, so there will be 8 lots of shipping...
Let me know of any suggestions you might have...

Trevor. I will work on a special product listing that does what your looking for. Let me know how you want to do the teams. 16 teams preselected....do we just assume they are the same value per team 400/32 = $12.50 per team? Then the remaining random spots would also be 12.50 per team. If so let me know the teams each person wants. I will work on a product set. Sounds like around 4 x $100 boxes. If u have any in mind let me know.

I've told him that equal shres works and I'll get back to him with the "reserved" teams list and some product suggestions. So guys if you have product ideas, start posting them !
