Okay folks, I am bored and waiting on my chance to get 2k13 and as such I had this desire to create my all time favourite warriors team from the era I am familiar with 1990- now in 2k12.

Now for me I can think of a few people I would instantly put in my 12.

Stephen Curry
Monta Ellis
Latrell Sprewell
Joe Smith
Anthony Morrow (all good teams need a 40% 3 point shooter)
Jason Richardson
Anthony Randolph (I just love this guy lol)
Chris Webber
Antawn Jamison

Chris Mullin
Mitch Richmond

but who else am I going to go with. Do I really wanna run with Bogut? I dont much like David Lee, I will NOT have that Homophobe Tim Hardaway in my team, but really I need some more bigs.

Who would you put in your team?

Mitch Richmond I like and Chris Mullin was a Warriors legend but what I really need are centers, and I will never ever have Tim Hardaway in any of my teams. lol

As a Warriors fan, i find that list slightly depressing :(

What's the story behind Hardaway being a homophobe?

A long long time ago now (sometime between now and 2007) Hardaway came out and had some very harsh words to say about homosexuals... may actually find the discussion thread somewhere on this site lol

Meh

Could possibly have been the way he was brought up as a child or something, who knows.

At least he seems to have made a genuine attempt to educate himself on the issue regardless of motives. He could have just done nothing at all.

Does Chris Gatling get a guernsey?

But yeah, if you're talking best, Run TMC HAVE to be in there. Unless you're talking YOUR best Team...

What about Ronnie Siekelly???

It would NOT be a team without Manute Bol either!

No doubt, but as a person who is identified as a Lesbian, I take offence to bigotry, its the one thing I have trouble forgiving. I can forgive about anything else within reason, but Bigotry takes a lot.

I will give him credit though if he has genuinely endeavoured to educate himself.

That's fair enough.

If he was genuinely homophobic, i can't understand how he could genuinely be open to working with the gay community so that's why i think it was more of just a very misguided and uneducated comment on his behalf that he has obviously learnt a pretty harsh lesson from.

I suppose many of us are guilty of saying something to someone that we regret at one stage or another. I'm not trying to change your opinion at all, just trying to keep an open mind.

The comments Tim Hardaway made were terrible, but the fact he has tried to educate himself on the matter and spoken out for gay rights at some conferences since his comments is commendable.

has a bit of an explanation and perhaps Tim has learnd his lesson, but I personally cannot help but think he is just trying to restore his tarnished image.

I find it sad that his image has been tarnished as a result of those comments, as we all say stupid things in our lifetime. His crossover was the best ever no carrying like AI, just pure switch.

I think it goes without saying that I would pick Mully as first player to be picked for the Warriors ! :)

There are stupid things, then there are quite frankly downright evil things. But his efforts since then should be taken into account, I however cannot abide having him in one of my teams simply because I have been victimised for something out of my control before. One argue his ball talent though :)

And yes Mullin would def be an option :)
