Get home from work this morning to find my account has been suspended for unpaid item violations. Funny thing is, there is nothing in my ebay that I haven't paid for, and they don't tell me which items in their email.

What a bunch of wankers. Straw, camel, back.

I've got the feeling that eBay is being run just like Bart thought MAD magazine did :-(

They definately suck balls Barge ;-)

Haha good call Jez!

Thats crap bargey, i dont blame you for giving them the flick and i think many others will be joining you

What I'm curious about is.....

For those of us who have bought stuff from you bargey, paid for it prior the suspension of your account.... will you still be posting out our stuff?

:)

Damn eBay and their nonsense. People who deserve to be suspended never end up having their accounts suspended. They are so messed up.

Of course I will be posting out people's stuff, what makes it hard is that while I was suspended I can't see stuff in myeBay, so I couldn't tell who bought what.

However, eBay finally came to their senses and reinstated my account, so I'm going on another rant.

I was suspended for Unpaid Item Strikes, about 6-7 of them. Every single one was because a seller refused to accept paypal despite their auction saying they would (you know, the whole we won't ship to a non US address cause you'll just chargeback us and rip us off). The reason none of these idiots got paid, is because beyond that, they wouldn't accept payment from any of my US friends and ship to them either. In other words, we aren't happy our Bogut Auto sold for 99c, so we're using any excuse we can to not sell it to you.

So last week I sent numerous emails, and appealed every Unpaid Item Strike. I didn't provide proof of anything, just wrote the seller wouldn't accept paypal. Today, every single item strike was removed no questions asked, and my account reinstated... what's the point of having an unpaid item strike system if they get removed without proof.

Also, no apologies what so ever from eBay for their ****ups. Too little to late I'm afraid. Google Auctions wil be up and running next year, they can have my business, eBay can GAGF.

Mate that's ****ed up.

Heres a question for you - if I setup a trading card only auction site, with little to no fees for listing cards, and only a fee for Final Value, would you think there is enough of a market in Australia for it to work ?

I would imagine till it got popular, that most people would place BIN auctions.

Thoughts ?

Yep...i would use it!

That sounds like a very good idea, probably best to have a BIN w/ Best Offer setup to get it up and running, it would probably kill ebay once all the people who buy from ebay find out about it.
