NO MORE PANINI FOR ME!!!

If I buy a Commode Omega, but when it comes time to deliver it, they don't have any, so they send me a Clubsport with a scratch down the side, I am not going to complain! I am just going to sell the Clubsport for slightly less than market value and buy myself a Calais and drive around in comfort!

my 2c.. auto is majorly ugly I'd be pissed off too.. but i would sell it.. and get something I wanted.. like cams, exhaust, injectors, new spark plug leads, some coil overs, and a tune... mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Replacements are based on VALUE and even with a sloppy auto, that card is worth more than the 2 dual autos! End of story!

A true collector would not look at the value of the card but instead would want the card he redeemed to complete his collection.

nah, all good, only kidding there mate, just finished work, im unwinding and im just trying to put it in perspective - part (lets say 10%) of a 'k' missing - lets take away 10% of the car - a door!

What would this set be worth without auto's? Jack shyte thats what, so seeing as the Auto is infact the majority of the price of the card the missing loop and way it ran off the card is a major flaw imo. I like your analogy but its more like a clubsport that had been written off as it can't be repaired its just a mangled mess :D

And a true collector would know that part of the risk you take when you buy a redemption is that it may never get produced! ;)

I wish to clear up a very important point here that seems to be lost on some. The card I received was hand picked by "Panini America's new Customer Service Manager", not a casual empl0yee, but someone Panini has brought in to their organisation to deliver the best customer service they possibly can to you guys (the customers).
Having had a 30 year career in the service industry myself in Senior Management roles, the only way I would ever do something like this would be to piss the customer off and hope he never came back (which I never did.) It's the effort shown in meeting the customer's expectation (me in this instance) that I've taken offence to, and then not even bother to respond. C'mon, call that service???

Ang, I get it now. I missed your point earlier but this helps clear it up. It's not the value or the time or even the crappy auto. It's the PRINCIPLE of the thing. You shelled out your hard earned money for one of their products and not only did they not produce it, the Customer Service Manager had every opportunity to reward you with a properly signed replacement card and neglected to do so.
 
Where did Ang say the panini rep knew about the quality of the signature, Verse1? For all we know, the card was logged onto the company database as available - with no image - and it was sent out without the rep actually seeing the card. At least Ang got an excellent value card as a replacement.

Pretty sure card companies used to print extra's for exactly this reason. What they would do is get the damaged card returned and destroy it and replace it with one of the extra's they had in their inventory. Have you not seen all the fleer bancruptcy cards floating arounf without serial numbering?
Correct extras are always taken into account. Trouble is even those extras could be sitting at the back of a players closet forgotten about no matter how much a card company hassles them
