Awesome win by the hawks last night.

My thoughts -
  • Tarrant and Maxwell look to be in trouble.
  • Roughhead could be as well, but I wonder if there was something happened prior or if he just had a complete brain snap?
  • Hawks spread of goal kickers was a highlight
  • hawks in and under players again dominant
  • Who is this cloke fella, different player the last 2 weeks
 
Good win for the brown and Gold! Hodgey, Cyril, Sewel, Mitch, Buddy all performed brilliantly. Despite missing one of our hardest players at the ball (Lewis) and Guerra, we really stood up.

Hope Maxwell gets rubbed out for this

looked very funny with collingwood trying to physically intimidate the hawks and the hawks virtually ignoring it. i'd say tarrant is very lucky buddy didnt lose it, he seemed scared enough when buddy was just whispering i his ear, let alone coming at him with anything of a physical nature
 
haha go u mighty hawks ......... good on buddy for not cracking it , well done nothing feels better than waking up Saturday morning after watching the mighty hawks cream the woods ............ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh so sweet:whistle::p

Interesting that you say that, the AFL website videos are talking about how it was collingwood who were the agressors
 
That vision of buddy whispering in Tarrants ear was gold, Id love to know what he was saying.
Love watching Hawks smash the pies. Hawks look unbeatable atm.

Highlight of the night was this moment when Buddy put on the gun show.

As a defender myself I really liked what I saw from Birchall, Gibson who should of received All Australian selection & Burgoyne was outstanding floating across half back in the last quarter and Gunston will do what Stuart Dew did for us in 2008, he was nervous in his first finals appearance but he will be better for this experience.

And you have to feel sorry for Whitecross after such a big season he goes down with a knee.

Reckon a big factor in how far the Hawks go will be how Schoenmakers bounces back from that towelling... Thought he'd turned the corner this season but got exposed again in the white hot heat of finals.
 
Wow, haven't seen Adelaide look that bad for a long time, although Sydney were typically very disciplined and tackled well once again. For those not living in SA, the media over here have been pumping up the Crows tyres all week....."almost GF certainties" - now they will have to play an away Prelim final if they get over Geelong/Fremantle next week.
