What Are You Watching On Ebay?

It COULD be a case of the seller thinking that anyone who would be willing to buy the card, KNOWS the card, and therefore doesn't need to be shown pics.

It isn't really the sort of card where you need to prove it being legit, because of the amount of media it has had. So I think the card is definitely not in question.

The auction however.... why wouldn't you mention 1/1 or the card # itself, or the fact that it is the holy grail of all Exquisites ever produced?

Why is there a bidder with 22 bids already and 8 retractions in the last 6 months

Why does the guy selling have 100% FB when you can see 4 negs over time?

Why do I care about this when the card will probably never change owner?? lol

I noticed the other day, and I think the 100% has fine print something about over the last 12 months, or something. But year, clearly negs listed, but the 100% throws people.

Not so much that, but just to prove that he actually has the card thats being auctioned.
Hes selling a card of this magnitude and the best he can do is use images from an article 8 years ago?!
(what, he doesnt have an iphone he can use?!)

But yeah like you said, he couldve made a bit more of an effort in his description
considering how loosely people use the term '1/1' on cards...

I also noticed his previous user id was 'postwarcardcollector' then i remembered a particular listing he had:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/1986-87-FLE...89743340?pt=US_Basketball&hash=item35bc2402ec

So with that said, he might actually have it then...

A couple of guys in the US say they know who owns it, asked if he still has it, and he confirmed he does. And it isn't this guy ;)

$4.85 special!

I thought so! Found something else ending tomorrow which I'm all over (hopefully).

Side note, just did a search for Barkley cards, found someone in the states with about a dozen cards, all for about $0.50c each. Heap of German, French & Italian Collectors Choice cards, and some Stadium Club Members Only stuff. Not often you find someone like that without competition for them!! ha ha.

Its Not a NBA or basketball Collectible
But I have been watching this old school signed Pornstar Traci Lords 8x10 Photo
I had $100 in the kitty for it but looks like it will go over that. I don't normally get reprints but have asked the seller if he would be willing to do one. I doubt he will incase he thinks I'm going to pocket off mass producing reprints beautiful item for pornstar fans they need to make pornstar cards with Lingerie swatches and Autos and other bizarre things they would make a killing

Puts a whole new perspective into "game used"...

I think the porn industry would get right behind it and collectors too its a huge money making industry.. Movie worn memorabilia swatches and autos such as Sasha Grey,Traci Lords Ron Jeremy & my latest new favourite Dayna Vendetta would be brilliant even add a Johnny Holmes 1/1 refractor or some kind of rare card and some autos of 70s-80's stars that are still alive today
