It's been a huge year for Ozcards, many new members joining up, lots of new freindships made and many awesome cards making their way into collections throughout 2006.

As the year winds down I wanted to start a thread that showcased some of the best cards that made their way into Ozcard members collections this year.

So feel free to post your best card (one card only please ) that arrived this year, also don't foget to mention why it was your best arrival for 2006 as well!

My favourite pickup from 2006 would be getting back my Lebron 03/04 Extra Exquisite that I traded away for a couple of boxes, then managed to get back 12 months later.

This would be my best arrival,for my ESPN set, took about 5 misses before I finally got one on the Bay, My first and only Jordan Swatch.

this was hard to pick one, as i have picked up alot of nice melos this year including 06 Numbers Piece and 06 Dual Numbers Piece with Vince Carter, but i just love this card!!

from the Sophomore Exquisite is IMO the best looking 'Limited Logo' set from the 3 exquisite years!!

this particular card has a sweet patch....crisp, clean auto and is #01/50 to top it all off

i found it REALLY hard to narrow it to one as i love nearly all my old school cards equally (not to mention my beloved Amares!) but i guess this is slightly ahead of the pack:

The (current) best card in my pc for alot of reasons, mainly as it's Zo, it's an auto /10 and it's sweeet..

We should maybe have a "best pull" of 2006 thread as well!

I did get the nice KG/Melo dual patch.... and some sweet marburys... decisions decisions.... maybe its the flairshowcase #/99 Rider I got...... damn I really have to think about this... I know I've posted this pic before but my best for 06 would be ...

Had to wait patiently for a few months to score this from the bay. A BGS gold lable doesn't come up often. Then I had to bid against several interested parties. Though I passed up a few that I felt where getting too expensive I eventually scored this at lower than most others.
