After a great suggestion from Cal, I think it is time that we had a thread that allows people to post links/photos of cards that they feel may have a fake patch or if they believe that a card is altered in anyway.

It would be great to hear peoples opinion on these cards and if you have any info that can help confirm/deny that the patches/cards are real/fake it would be great!

I dont understand why anyone would even mess with patches...its not like you are keeping actual game worn patches ( they hardly ever do that anymore any way) but i dont see what is the point....??

They alter them to add in better looking patches, thus increasing the sale value on them.

That sticker on the back of the card reminds me the stickers from years ago when i used to work at a place that had imported goods with hologram stickers on every box

Pretty certain that Dirk is a fake. They stopped using those older patches years ago, yeah?!?!

I don't really know if it is real or not, but I would have thought if you weren't trying to hide anything, you would be sure that the pic you use is a clear one??? Unless you don't want something to be seen?

Yeah, the worthpoint site, I've used on many occasions, just to look for Harris Cards that have been on the open market, particularly the Premo Patches - Good to know what's been pulled sometimes.
