i haven't been to a card shop in like 18 years, even if you don't buy anything (but u so should) those butterflys would be awesome and hard to put a price to have that feeling again.....
p.s. sorry about the ufc 151 mate

That feeling of a visiting a local card store is sensational! Same here, have not visited a store for a long time especially one where the owner takes time to share with you some stories on the hobby. Simply awesome! With the UFC, at least I'm getting a refund on my tickets. Well that may be a good thing, gives me more money to buy cards.

Mate, your trip sounds like a dream!
Can hardly express how jealous I am, especially coming from a country with absolutely NO sports card shop of any shape, size or type.
Go crazy and just buy everything there! :)

Hi Chin Yi

There used to be about a dozen stores selling NBA cards in the late 90s. With the emergence Of ebay, most of them are gone. The last I heard was that the world of JJ sells NBA cards. You might want to check them out.

Hey, wow how come you know so much about Singapore and its card shops? :D
I've visited World of JJ but they only have a few very old boxes left.
Very little choice involved! I asked them about it too and they told me they are just clearing old stock, no intention to bring in any more.

If I am not mistaken, world of JJs used to have exclusive rights for Topps and UpperDeck but not sure about now. I don't think they have qualified to be Panini's exclusive distributor and hence can't bring it in at a cheap price for them. I know about 20 to 30 collectors in Singapore as I used to live there. Many of them still own theirs cards but are not actively trading. If you started collecting back in the early 90s, you might recognize me. Cheers Alex

Ah I don't think they have it anymore, I heard a few local sellers might be gunning for the distributor rights?
Not too sure, but certainly hope to see a shop soon!
I started not too long ago, so definitely not haha, but could ask some of the other locals if they know you.
Cheers for the info, mate! :)
