The gold coast yearly show that starts on Friday 31st of August until Sunday 2nd September.
I can let you know right now before it's advertised from Monday that on Saturday 1st of September I don't have a time yet but it will bein the afternoon that Brisbane Broncos,Qld & Australian forward Ben Hannant will be at the Gold Coast Show will be signing item limited 2 items per person,and right now security is also being arranged for him and mybe over the weekend their will be a bigger announcement for another player may make a appearance at the same time.
Only 2 items per person.

TICKET PRICES FOR 2012
Family (2A & 3C under 14 yrs) $45.00
Adults $20.00
Students, Pensioners, Seniors $10.00
Children (under 14) $5.00
Pre-School Children FREE
Car parking $10.00
 
Damn Most of my Hannant cards are already signed. Dunno if I'd bother paying $20 to get in to get another 2 signed seeingb as he is a pretty accesible player.
 
If this is the way people in this place feel then no good even telling anyone what's going on.
If you live in Brisbane you goto the EKKA would Like to know if anyone is their or even if you goto the Sydney Easter show wouldn't it be nice to know.

if i lived Queensland based i'd be there. as it stands i dont, and will hang around for the next sydney one i guess, which i hope you will make an appearance at again. i appreciate the fact you got perret out to the last one.

sorry mate didnt mean to sound negative its great that you can get the players to such events like this if i am going to the show ill definetely bring cards with me but i was also saying itll be interesting to see who the second player will be.. probably should have worded it better,

good luck getting the second player as well
 
I think people just aren't willing to pay $20 entry and possibly $10 parking to get a couple of autographs from a somewhat decent but not spectacular player. I'm sure they still appreciate your effort in organising it and for fans of the broncos or Hannant already going to the show it would be great. I wouldn't go to the show however as i find those kind of shows hell, the Ekka is a horrible day out. But i'm sure a lot of families with young kids love it and would love meeting one or two players.

I'm not taking a pot shot at you mate. I'm just saying personally for me I wouldn't pay $20 to get in to see Benny when I see him around the coast so much and I'm a season member of the broncos so I catch him at most functions aswell.
 
If you were going to the show and you knew he was going to be their you might want something.
EXAMPLE
If your neighbor was going to the show and had a couple of kids and they got to meet him or get something signed it could start 1,2 or more new collector into rugby league going wow he's a great bloke and they goto a card show somewhere and see his cards and then they start collecting it can be new people they may never buy anything off me but it gets someone else interested would that be a great thing for the industry,how many people goto the show that may never be able to afford to goto a game and they get to meet someone they watch on T.V that could be the biggest thing that may happen to them in a long time.
Does anyone in here remember what it was like to meet a sporting star at some promo that you may have meet and gone mum,dad I want to follow in his footsteps and play for the broncos,qld or Australia.
I can tell you when I meet my fav player it was because someone did at promo when I was a kid I loved it.
If you remember what that was like,then you would want anyone who is going to the show to know he will be their.

are you going to have a stand or something with memorabilia/cards for sale?
 
Yes i will be having a stand selling memorabilia/signed cards if anyone was at the parramatta show they will know i had folders with $5 & $10 signed cards because i will be at the gold coast i will be bring to display cabinets that stand upright we made that holds cards,anyone who has been to my shop will know about theses stands we made ourselfs.
Still trying to get hold of ESP to see if their are any promo cards that we can hand out at this show because the information i have is they get over 50,000 people through the showbag pravillon and thats where i will be also right next to the titans shop.
We are going to do specials that have never been seen before signed framed photos starting from $75.00.
I am about to send my last email to ESP in regards to this because if they dont get back to me that tells me they dont care if i stock their products.
 
No not recent even with my contacts he is being hard last time i saw him he even told me 1 card and i got a gold tigers logo card signed by him and i did not see him last tuesday.
 
Apparantly he is not signing any cards ever again. Who does he think he is.... An immortal or something. I may end up out there doing an appearance myself.

correct, thats what he said to mee. might try TTM even though they dont pass mail on.
 
Yeah i tried to do a TTM for lote and got my back unsigned. Also can we have more details on this show i would be on the coast that weekend and would like to go check it out.
