Finally, as you know the Club agreed terms to sell Alex Song to Barcelona. We did this because we have Jack Wilshere coming back, we have Abou Diaby back, we have Tomas Rosicky not far away and we will try to bring in another midfielder as well.

Whether 'another midfielder' is Sahin, there is some conjecture. As the deal is practically done, possibly means another midfielder again

ade deal is done. spurs paying all his wages. why would city pay half?! unless he was on loan. apparantly hes taken quite a big pay cut tho...

He was holding out for higher wages, that's why the delay with him moving - being an ass basically. Not wanting to play for City, but not wanting to play for less at Spurs...if what you're saying is right then City basically called his bluff and he woulda sat on the bench all year.

mancnini said before the charity shield that ade would not play any more minutes for city this season (meaning never again really). they called his bluff, but they shouldve done it two seasons ago.
now theres only bridge and roque being payed for nothing...
side note: ade is taking a $65k pay cut. still on $100k a week tho.

Isn't Bridge on loan at Brighton? I'd have thought they'd be paying most if not all of his wage.

united sign defender alex buttner, a middle of the road dutch LB that fergie seems to think is one of the best. and henriquez deal is almost done. work permit granted.

Very close. Still a slight issue on a buy out clause at the end of the loan, or something along those lines.

Two seasons ago Ade was our main striker along with Tevez. We didn't have Aguero or Balotelli or Dzeko ... so why would they do it then?

2011-12 with Spurs, most of 2010-11 with Madrid. He was a big part of the team when Mancini arrived towards the end of 2009-10...I guess Mancini had certain strikers he had his eye on and also certain attitudes he wants to see at training. I always liked Ade, as well as Bellamy but they both went fairly quickly. A manager knows who he wants I guess. All we see is the finished product rather than working with them every day every week. Kinda reminds of SAF and Beckham, Stam, Keane etc, and currently Brendan Rogers and Andy Carroll
