Definitely not tapped on the shoulder. Hornby was only ever going to play on because there isn't anyone in the club to fill his role, that said he recognises its time now regardless.

The Dragons will let the aging legends of the club retire pretty much under their own terms.

Cooper is too slow these days and injured every couple of weeks
Fien has 1 good game in every 6
JMiller, doesn't offer much.

A great club man he gave the dragons over a decade of service
but i agree the writing was on the wall and i think Ben recognized that fact months ago just could not come out and say that till now
i wonder if they might try and sign a big name now ?

Don't worry I'm sure they are in the market there's just no "one name" out there at the moment. I think 2014 will be more the target year and the start of the next 5 year plan.

Dare I say it 2013 will be more for rebuilding, the attacking structure needs to change with the addittion of a half and and a ball playing fullback.
