Nine and Fox Sports retain NRL broadcast rights

You are getting to watch the game you love for free!!!!.... And who really cares about which club plays Fridays , Sat or Sundays????.... I would not care if the Broncos played on Sundays as it would even be better for me as its the only day / night in which i am not working....

thats your choice my friend.... I watch both 9 and Fox , and to be honest both have there ups and downs but like i said before , if footy is on the big screen i will watch whoever is playing.... How do you think i feel as i have not seen my Broncos win a game in over 1 month free to air????

i rather watcher the channel 9 friday games on fox later at night no ads etc

broncos have only lost 4 or 5 in a row don't worry every years the sharks go thru a phase of losing 8 or 9 in a row so don't complain haha

Gus Gould say at the panthers Forum that the Broncos have 32000 members and on average have about 3000 in corporate hospitality each week. Penrith have about 5000-6000 members and 275 in corporate hospitality each week. he took the whole board to spend half a day with the Broncos management (and Collingwood as well) to show how a successful club is run.

I dont mind a Qld team playing on a Friday night, as long as its not always the Broncos.

Cheers
Matt

You would hope there's something in the deal that those Friday Queensland games are split equally between the Queensland sides ... and that every side in the comp gets an equal amount of free to air games each year.

Matt i agree with you , and i am a Bronco 120%.... Friday night games are good for the game and most Friday nights i am working which means i have to tape the game and watch it at midnight!!!!.... I would not mind them playing Sat night or Sunday afternoon if this meant giving other clubs access to Friday nights but the fact is that channel 9 is smart and even if the Broncos are mid table they would still put them on Friday night dew to the crowds and most viewers Brisbane attract....

I'd say at least everyone involved with teams like Raiders, Sharks, Warriors, Cowboys would care. While the 9 coverage is rubbish, more people get to see it and the teams that get more coverage on free to air have a massive advantage in attracting sponsors and fans than the teams that only get two or three games a year.
