Hi all,
Busted 2 boxes of NBA Hoops today with minimal success but I certainly like the set. Doing this because many people wanted me to upload some photos of what they can expect to see in the set. It has some nice inserts that while don't look too flashy are pretty cool. Below are some photos and thoughts about each card in the set. Everything I busted today is for sale as well by the way!
First up! Base cards
As you can probably tell I'm a Cleveland fanatic. But I thought I'd scan these just to give you guys an idea of what to expect. In 2012-13 Hoops both the 2011 and 2012 rookie classes are in it. Obviously there is no in game shots of the 2012 rookies so they their base cards all contain photos from draft night (as per Zeller and Waiters above). The one of Kyrie just shows what the regular base cards look like, and another cool addition is the coach base cards (Byron Scott)

Next up, Draft Night inserts!
These inserts in my opinion look great, they feature rookies from the 2012 class and also come in an autograph version. Unfortunately I didn't hit any but yeah these are my personal favourite of all the inserts, and I'm contemplating collecting the set because I like them so much.
Spark Plugs, Action Photos and Courtside!
Here is three inserts from the set, spark plugs at the top, courtside on the left and action photos on the right. These are all horizontal cards that look pretty cool, the photo ones look great but I'm not exactly thrilled at the spark plugs set.
Rookie Impact, Board Members and Kobe Anthology
Rookie impact much like 'draft night' celebrates strictly the 2011 draft class, these are nice cards but the horizontal nature of the picture just frustrates the crap outta me. It makes the card look horrible in my opinion. Board members are for all the rebounders out there and look pretty cool without being anything spectacular. Finally Kobe Anthology isn't an insert inside this set but throughout the 2012 Panini range, in Hoops one pack is featured of 5 cards which highlights Kobe's career. I'm not at all a Kobe fan, but I love the look of these cards!
Finally! The hits, the autos
Didn't get any DRob or Kyrie auto love but still happy with my bust. Was cool because I didn't really know what to expect and got a whole bunch of the Cavs' base cards I was after as well as that Tyler Zeller draft night insert which is sweet.
Anyway hope this helps all those that wanted to see photos of the new 2012-13 Hoops!
