Same old Arsenal. All ball for no score. Cazorla and Walcott were good. Podolski and Gervinho looked likely without finishing. Giroud good too, just couldn't get the goal we needed. Defence looked really solid, minimal Sunderland chances.

Clint Dempsey - Um isn't what he's doing worse than what Tevez originally did? How could he do that to a club!

pretty good first night. first time swansea have ever beaten QPR at home and they make it 5-0.
fulham did alright without dempsey and newcastle win a tight one with a direct rival for top 6. havent seen either of these games tho...
typical arsenal. and liverpool straight back on my 'wont do anything' list...3-0, shouldve been 4.
and i'll mention in passing the mighty hammers downing villa. well done.

Chelsea with a comfortable win at Wigan and City with a comfortable win at home to Southhampton

Talk about deja vu! City dominate, although to be fair Southampton were excellent. They tapped it round like us the first 20 minutes... Silva had the worst game I've seen from him. Nasri was excellent, as was Zabaleta. Interesting to see Rodwell started....other than a bad pass which led to a cracking length of the field counterattack goal he was tidy.
Tevez looks sharp as . Aguero - fingers crossed for him...

Cos Clichy is quick, tidy and can defend. He also put a terrific cross in for the 3rd goal. Kolarov is a luxury - he's a back who is slow and gets caought out defensively but a great crosser. I'd play Clichy ahead of Kolarov every day...

Not official yet but pretty close. Another really good signing for the Arsenal boys, squad is looking better than it has for a long time.

I have several times, and so has Mancini and that's why Zabaleta and Clichy play ahead of him.

Different players though. Song more defensive. Sahin a more creative type. Think there'll be another signing to replace Song

may have been branded as a defensive player, but i would go as far as to say he was arsenals most creative midfielder last season.

No doubt Song had a creative side to him, certainly not the most creative though. Did have his best season for us, but not good enough for Barcelona wouldn't have thought. Time will tell, good luck to him
