hey all,

im off to the US in November and am gonna have a damn good time. here is what i have organised:

NBA... Nov 3rd New Orleans Hornets @ Chicago Bulls - tickets booked, floor tickets 7 rows in :) ... i follow the Hornets so wrapped to be able to see them in the House that Michael built - hopefully D-Rose can get healthy and play by then

NBA... Nov 7th Brooklyn Nets @ Miami Heat - tickets booked, decent tickets halfway up behind Heat bench :) ... will be great to see Bron live and also the new look Nets team

NBA... Nov 9th Brooklyn Nets @ Orlando Magic - tickets booked :) ... these ones are up in the nose-bleeds, just wanna see what its like from all angles

Madonna concert... Nov 12th @ Madison Square Garden - tickets booked, my wife is a lifelong fan

NHL... Nov 14th Washington Capitals @ New York Rangers - no tix yet as season no certainty to start when scheduled due to their CBA negotiations

NBA... Nov 15th Boston Celtics @ Brooklyn Nets - got tix the other day - digonally behind one of the benches, just not sure which one LOL :) ... can't wait to see this one and in Brooklyns new house too - cracking arena

NCAA College Basketball Nov 16th & 17th- 2K Sports Classic preseason tourny @ Madison Square Garden involves 4 teams Villanova, Purdue, Oregon State & Alabama - Club tickets booked 2 rows in off the floor :)

NFL... Nov 19th Chicago Bears @ San Francisco 49ers Monday Night Football - tickets booked around 10 rows back on the ground level right near 49ers bench... i follow the 49ers and am thrilled to see them at Candlestick Park before they move to new stadium - this will be the best of all events i reckon

plus in between i'll catch all the mandatory tourist attractions, ive got a 4 day real estate conference in Orlando and also doing the drive from san fran to los angeles

fair to say that i can not wait!

Wow, sounds like the trip of a lifetime!! I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure d rose is out most of thus coming season with a knee injury. Your going to be amazed at the college crowd, they are insane!! Seeing the queen of pop is pretty cool, I'll say it....

awesome!! theres some great coastal roads between Sanfran and LA, similliar to Great ocean road thats alot of fun to drive, and the views are amazing! plus when we went we stumbled across a whole colony of elephant seals resting right beside the road! pretty amazing! your going to have a ball on this trip!

got floor tickets (Club section) for the final - it gives some special priveliges like special entrance and free food during the game : ) ... looking forward to seeing some college ball

where'd you book your tickets, trying to book a few Lakers games for January thru the website and it says they go on sale Sept 22nd?

Looks like a dream trip there Branko.

Where exactly are the floor tickets for the Bulls game, hope there not at the end of the court. If they are you may find yourself behind some of the media and the view is restricted.

Don't expect to much from the house that Mike built as of the 4 stadiums i went to when I did my trip in 08 found it to be the least impressive of them all. May be because that all the money Mike earnt for Chicago went stright back to Mike in wages.

Have done the LA to San Fran drive myself. You should do yourself a favour and call into the Pebble Beach Golf Course even if you don't play golf. It's been about 10 years since I was there but when I was they had a real estate office on site. The price of the houses will make your jaw drop. Although you will probably be too busy working out the possible commisions.

You will have a blast

cheers buddy... the united center seats are not straight behind the basket but rather diagonally behind (if that makes sense) near the hornets bench :) - again looking forward to the electricity in the building as they apparently say that the the atmosphere in the stadium is as good as any in the nba

as for the coastal drive, im sure looking froward to stop over at pebble beach and may even do a bit of a stop at the real estate agency for some research on some ideas on how they market top end homes that I can maybe bring back with me to melb and put to use

Sounds like an amazing trip mate, definitely jealous. Do me a favour and snatch a GU item off Aminu for me, lol!

Cheers for the heads up, checked it out, is this the best place to order your tickets? might wait till the 22nd of September to compare prices, last year bought a row 13 seat behind the bench for $300 vs LA Clippers, stubhub want $900 for the same ticket, wondering if it's worth waiting or not, mind you this is Miami at LA, courtside are selling for 10K

stubhub is easiest i reckon... im happy to pay a bit for convenience sake - here's some examples:

* paid $130 each for tix to Brooklyn Nets @ Miami Heat game... diagonally behind miami bench approx one third of the way up - section 110
* trying to get some tix next to one of benches (not sure which one as its the new stadium) for Boston Celtics @ Brooklyn Nets section 15 & 3 rows back off the floor - they're asking $260 a pop
this gives you a great view of any seat in the house:
http://www.seats3d.com/nba/barclays_center/#/level_2/
* paid $200 each for tix to Chicago Bears @ San Fransisco 49ers... lower box corner 4 (on ground level near 49ers bench)

im happy : )
