Went up to Fredericksburg, VA to visit a friend over a recent summer vacation I took which happened over this past weekend. In the process, this vacation I took allowed me to have a day at the 2012 National card show which happened back on Saturday up in Baltimore. Here are the results of my one day at the National in Baltimore over the past weekend:

Very happy to add these 2 players to my baseball HOF collection!!! Jim Rice was an obvious choice for me to get since I am a Red Sox fan lol.
This next signing I was debating over getting for the past few weeks. Once I found out that I would be able to get to this big card show the day of this signing, I decided to get this NBA legend since that I don't think I will see him at all IP in the future. Here is this result:

This next pickup I got was from a grapher I know that lives over in West Michigan. I met this grapher 4 years ago when Sandberg appeared at the West Michigan White Caps ballpark outside of Grand Rapids. To make a long story short, he told me that he was going to be at this show in Baltimore. Since he knows I am a Red Sox fan, I was able to successfully workout a deal for this:
This was obtained IP at Comerica Park in Detroit and this item is a big help to my Red Sox autograph project and collection!!!
When it was all said and done, I decided to pickup a couple NBA Basketball card boxes. Haven't busted any boxes in a long time it seems like. Been to busy to bust boxes much at all these days but decided to give in for this show. I did a box of 08-09 Fleer Basketball and a box of 10-11 Panini Classics. Here are scans of the big hits I had out of these boxes:
What I did not scan from the Classics box that I also got is a Kevin Durant GU card #'d /499.
