Im having a drunken test match cricket night.

Swing and miss, thats a chugg ;)

Player catches the ball but falls over, thats a chugg ;)

over the fence, thats a chugg ;)

end of over, thats a chugg ;)

LOL, thats a brilliant idea. i sold my set when we moved house for a measly $2 :(

wish id had the chance to play drunken table cricket though, itd be a sight to see.

You'll need the paramedics on standby if it's a best of 5 series.
sounds more interesting than the current ashes test, maybe NINE should televise this.

i didnt have the board game, i had the one with the spinning wheels, it was like playing wheel of fortune for runs and wickets, bloody high scores sometimes, now that was a classic game... Cricket Australia is supposedly bringing out a Cricket Australia version of Monopoly, now that would good!

I think i might have it still at my mums (unless she sold it at a garage sale ) Will get back to you Chad!

That game was a bloody classic, many hours of fun there.

What's the point of getting it Chad. It just reduces the "CHUGGING" time!!!

I think just chug, and forget about everything else.

(Although the concept sounds fun)

Think about chugging - CHUG
Say something intelligent - CHUG
Say something dumb - CHUG
Open your mouth - CHUG!!!

;-)

Hmm I'll try that one out at the pub after work tomorrow night and maybe for drinks on Friday night :-D

Its a big friday night this week and I might be cashed up too hey Mr Hill ;-)

Take Friday off and sit on the couch in front of the tube watching the Ashes.

Every time they say a Commentator's Name, ball, over, wicket, umpire, run, maiden, snick-o-meter, hot-spot - CHUG.

Every time they show a replay - CHUG!!!

And laugh at all the poor fools watching it live, who are unable to play this game.

and are also able to walk at the end of the days play...

the game we get going, on the first day of a test, has 2 varaitions, depending on whether the aussies are batting or bowling.

Bowling:
Brett Lee gets spanked: Skull the beer (actually passed during the champions trophy)
Gilly says something nice to the bowler: skull
Glenn McGrath bowls a over: skull
Tony Greig and Bill Lawry get into a argument: Skull

Batting
100/50: Skull the Beer
4: Skull
Extra: skull
Over bowled: Chug

and the new addition to this years lineup:

Steve Harmison Wide: Skull the beer
Jones drops the ball: Skull

great, drunken fun for everyone. And it begins again on friday!

Great idea Chad.
I'm actually heading down to the first three days fo the Ashes Test in Adelaide, starting tomorrow. Everyone look for me on TV. I'll be wearing my Andris Biedrins Warriors Jersey and I'll go with the Ivan Drago-like Biedrins hair.

As some here know, collecting cricket memorabilia is my passion, and I have the 2 variations of the Test Match Game - the first one and then the Crown and Andrews one. Plus I have the 6 ball over and the 8 ball over of that cool Test Match game where you slide the button across. That HAS to be one of the coolest games ever. One day I'll post up some pics of what I haveat home. It's not so much the Channel Nine 'limited edition' prints, it's more old bats from the 1930s, some memorabilia from the 70s, and over 1500 cricket books.

I think I may have a spare version of the 6 ball over version, and when Im back from Adelaide I'll have a look. If I do I'll send it over to you Chad for use during the Boxing Day Test!
