Firstly, there is no better bloke.. took time to chat to every one. and was very interested in the cards as he had never seen any of them before. i even gave him a spare base

yeahp thats the one.. the telstra store in seven hills. and the newsagents next door to it was the shop i got them at

Nope, I don't think it's a Sydney thing as I have been around to 10 newsagents around the northan beaches and they are all saying the same thing, they won't get them in because they think $5.00 a pack won't sell, this means ESP will have a hard time selling their product through newsagents....

I think some one has bought a truck load of this Dynasty series as Select are on their last few cases of stock.
Someone is going to be rich $$$.

Still can't find them up here :( .... My newsagency says they generally do get serious 2 in, but they just get what they get ...... They don't actually order them :( .... As far as they know they are their last box of champions, when I checked on Monday they only had a few packs left :( ....

Wow Dynasty is $5 each pack .... lol sorry for the newbie comment, but this is my 1st tring for series 2 :) .... When I collected as a kid, the scanlens were really cheap and there was no series too lol .... How far into it do you guys think 3 boxes will get me please ????

Yep I tend agree with Andy; if they don't want to sell dynasty due to the cost well ESP will find it really hard.... If I can recall back to the Penrith card show I think Terry said they will be charging $8 a pack .... Kids won't be able to buy either :( .....

Hmmmmmmmm wonder who snagged lots of boxes then :confused: .... I hope we all get to finish out dynasty sets... As it is we will be weeks behind you guys to even start off :( ..... What do you guys think all of our chances are of finishing our masters sets ?????

Card collecting sure has changed in a lot of ways since the 80's.
It would be interesting to see what happends with the new ESP cards......

As for who snagged the Dynasty boxes, I think a lot of the big players who we all know who they are and the big e-bay card sellers.

3 boxes should get you enough to collect your team hopfully you get a LLB or LLG in your case you need 6 boxes.
you need to be quick as Select are on there last few cases, there are some on e-bay, even if they are searched you still have a chance of busting a LLG because it looks like only 3 or 4 boxes in a case don't have these cards.

And as for compleating the full Dynasty set, it looks to be very hard even for the case busters, I'm only going to collect my team only because trying to collect the complete set would send me broke, just to collect the full set of Black and Gold League Leaders cards would cost you about $5000.00 :rolleyes:

I think there are 4 main groups of busters:
The Pack Buster : Mainly kids collecting, low income earner, base collector or team collector.
The Box Buster : A average collector, tries to collect most of the full set if they can.
The Case Buster : Mainly a serious collector and small seller depending on the number of cases, who collects what they need and sell the rest.
The Pallet Buster : Mainly as a seller, the big players who have lots of cash and make a living out of it.
 
Hhaha mate i work there.... I brought nearly every single packet from the Newsagent from 2 boxes .... trying to get a hit like that.....hindy was the man.... didn't complain once and was genuinely interested in everyone who came up too him

Wow that pallet was huge :) .... I am quite suer that they can drop them at my door anytime they wish :)... I will give them more space :D.... I am that between the other half and myself, we could find something to do with them ;):thumbsup: .... Ok now this next bit I am not quite following, I know call me a dumb a$$ :p..... So 3 boxes and I should have enough to trade my way, to my Para PC base and inserts for Dynasty is that correct ????? The case is for the other half and his mate to split .... I cant afford that sort of money :( .... Now this bit I dont understand "hopfully you get a LLB or LLG in your case you need 6 boxes" .... We looked online to select this morning, they charge a fortune for their boxes :( .....

Champions I am only short a couple of centurions, the 2 case cards and about 20 parallel from having the set... I dont think that will for Dynasty though :( .... Yep $5000 is the sort of money I don't have :cry:.... I am even cutting down on my smoking, to have more money for cards :ermm:.....

I gave hindy a few cards the other night and when he saw the 2012 ones who was suprised how great they looked. Burt was pretty happy with them too. Ben hannant from the broncos want a spare one so will give him one next game.

Hay Michelle,

For you to collect the full set of Dynasty Parramata Eels, you need to buy two boxes which should get you the whole set of base and and enough inserts to trade, as long as you get the LLB and LLG cards if your lucky:) .
Your lucky that Parramatta don't have Signature redemptions.

Then you will need to buy a Top Try Scorer redeemed on e-bay after the grand final.

Select are charging $195.00 a box unsearched.

The reason I said 3 was in case you want some players from other teams.:D
