2 very different players, u couldn't say one was better than the other. Robinson took a nothing franchise and started a culture that is now 4 a time champion spurs franchise. Ewing a better jump shot but robinsons speed and power at that time of his career was second to none. YouTube both players career highlights and you could not separate them.

Ewing > Robinson any day of the week.

Yeah I dunno. For me, DRob was the better, in comparison to their performances, and achievements...

PPG: 21.1ppg (Ewing 21ppg)
RPG: 10.6rpg (Ewing 9.8rpg)
BPG: 3bpg (Ewing 2.4bpg)
FG% 51.8% FG (Ewing 50.4%)
FT% 73.6% FT (Ewing 74%)

2x Champion (Ewing 0 times)

MVP (Ewing 0 times)
DPOY (Ewing 0 times)
10x All-Star (Ewing 11 times)
4x All-NBA 1st, 2x 2nd & 4x 3rd (Ewing 1x 1st, 6x 2nd)
4x All-Defensive 1st Team, 4x 2nd (Ewing 3x All-Defensive 2nd)
ROY (Ewing same)

Yeah thanks for that, should probably remove it tho, it's not a legal download, not sure on what these guys here like about links like this... but thanks again! DL'ng now!

I wonder how people would feel about the 2 teams if Jordan didn't play. Speaking of Jordan, did he even play that good in the Olympics?

Last in shooting %
6th in 3point %
4th in points scored
4th in assists

So we know that Jordan is pretty much the best player ever. But shouldn't we be judging how 92 and 12 teams play in the Olympics and not just on paper?

If you look at numbers then Robinson wins almost every category in totals and played 3 less years because he didn't come in until he was 24. Just watched the doco, one of the best sports videos I have seen. Today's current players have talent but I don't think they could put their egos aside like that TEAM did, just terrific. THE best team assembled in sport and we need to appreciate that. Magic kind of transformed basketball in the 80's into Showtime and then Michael took it to the next level to be I think the most famous person to walk this planet.

So winning by 40 points a game is not enough for you?

Winning by 40 points to some Sunday league player doesn't really impress me. Australia once beat America Soma in a game of Football(soccer) by 30 odd goals, does that make them the best?

So you still think today's team is going to beat 11 hall of gamers and 10 of the greatest 50???

I think there is a good chance they could, I think many people dismiss the 12 team way to quickly because the name Jordan is in the other team. Like in every sport as the years go on the game gets faster and faster. I think the 92 team would have to much trouble with the pace and the plays this 12 team could run.

That's just a stupid comment. I think greater western Sydney would beat hawthorn of 1982 too!!!

Using a crappy team as an example just goes to show your mindset.

We are talking about the NBA's best available players of 92 and 12.

Chris Paul, deron Williams, Kobe and melodramatic wouldn't be able to put their egos aside long enough to even play a half!

but you really think that Tyson Chandler could handle the plays run by the 92 team for Ewing or Robinson? and Kevin Love/Anthony Davis could guard Karl Malone/Charles Barkley. If you want to talk plays - I'm pounding the ball inside every time in the 92 v 12 game and once the double teams come I've got Larry Bird and Chris Mullin sitting on the 3pt line.

Chandler would have no hope. But I think the 12 team could out score the 92 team. Who is gonna guard Kobe, Paul and LeBron on the floor at once? Pippen and Jordan are they only 2 that could keep up with them.

whilst the 92 team would have trouble with the speed of the 12 guards, realistically it is the only place they have any advantage

I've been giving this thought and people become a little too obsessed with append and athleticism with bball, yes you need some but as I keep saying it is an old mana game. Only have to look at championship teams to confirm that!! This year was the perfect example.

Bryant appeared to soften those comments a bit Friday, telling reporters, "I didn't say we were a better team. But if you think we can't beat that team one time? Like I'm going to say no, that we'd never beat them. "They are a better team. The question was 'Can we beat them?' Yes we can. Of course we can." Bryant's initial comments received immediate and sharp rebuttal from some members of the Dream Team. Jordan told The Associated Press he laughed when he heard of Bryant's comments. "For him to compare those two teams is not one of the smarter things he ever could have done," Jordan said. ESPN.com
