Finally, another Rugby League Game :) =D> :kick:

Tru Blu Entertainment announced today that Rugby League Live 2 is currently in development and will be released later this year on PlayStation®3 and Xbox 360®. Developed by Australian Game Studios Big Ant the game promises to deliver the hard-hitting action and excitement of the greatest game of all.

“The demand for a new Rugby League game on Playstation®3 and Xbox 360® has been staggering. We have listened to our fans and we are delighted to make this announcement”, said Managing Director, Sebastian Giompaolo.

“Rugby League Live 2 delivers an innovative new gameplay experience, accurately capturing the speed, creativity and strategy of today’s Rugby league” said Paul Kind, General Manager, NRL, Marketing and Commercial “It’s an incredibly realistic NRL experience and a must-have game for anyone who loves their rugby league”.

I for one cant wait for this and will be buying it as soon as it comes out,
thought i would let everyone know it is on its way.
 
no its made by the same company who did the last one which means it will most likely be as shit and poorly produced. they need to hand the license over to EA or some company with some sort of know how when it comes to producing sport games.

i will still end up buying it i know because i wont be able to help myself, but i can assure it will be nothing to look forward too.
 
They really should just get Sidhe to do it.

Rugby Challenge is bloody brilliant despite a few shortcomings, and they made the PS2 Rugby League games.

Girds did you see the screenshots it looks like there has been a bit more effort put into this game
 
I like the idea of career mode coming back into it. I didn't mind the last game but didn't like that after one season its pretty much boring and repetitive as you cant sign players etc. ill be buying this one to add to the collection of League games lol

yeah ive seen them, no doubt the graphics are better. not sure if im a fan of player creation either. and it will be built on the same engine as the last game, so i cant see the gameplay being any better. if they do bring back franchise mode that will be a positive though,
 
im also liking that there's toyota cup and nsw & qld cup teams in this game although there probably wont be as much emphasis on these teams when it comes to stats and likeness

okay youve sold me a winner, this is the first ive heard about toyota cup being in it. one of my best mates plays in toyota cup he will piss himself when he hears this will have to give him a call tomorrow.
