Just wondering what everyone thinks the league leaders Black card & Gold cards will cost? What's a fair price to pay for them? I'm after the Raiders ones but don't want to overpay

I am hoping a bit less than that for the black. I know it's a different set and different circumstances, but if you check out what the 2003 Scanlens cards go for, it's more around the $150 mark, and those are limited to 40.

I think we will find that is a little on the high side, my thoughts are 50-60 for the Gold and we will see the black about 150-200 ea.

I would think the Blacks will go for no less than $200.00. There will not be many for sale of each as a fair few are going into sets pre-sold to big collectors through a few dealers.

Can't believe the prices some of these are going for.. even with my early "high estimate". It seems they keep going up in price after the initial rush. Just saw a Hornby with no special number go for $380. That was more than his number 2 went for 2 weeks ago. I listed one for buy it now at 299 which I thought was around the highest for a random number and it was snapped up quickly. Anyway the main question is where does everyone think these will settle? Say in 18 months time will they still be going for these inflated prices?

That just sounds like the psycho St George fans. Gidley's are selling for $200.

I have sold a few Golds for $70 and I bought a Black for $200 which is cheap as compared to some prices I have seen. There are some bargains out there but you have to be quick.

Golds will drop to $40-$50 soon. Blacks are going strong though

I've been trying to get a black of Thaiday, Prince or the cowboys duo but there going alot higher then I thought they would. Might have to offload my Farah to get one.

I moved three blacks for $200 and a couple of golds for $80 through this site which I thought was pretty fair. I reckon that's the upper limit though. Some crazy prices on ebay, again probably dealers looking for a one-off score rather than getting unders via auction.

Yeah. Cowboys, Farah & Campese Blacks. I was hoping for an Ennis trade but was under a little pressure to re-coup some of the outlay. I wasn't gonna sit on them waiting for a big bite and I'd rather have offered them to OZCT's than sell on ebay to someone who would potentially re-sell at an inflated price.
