Redemption Success: Panini and UD take note.

So I busted a couple of boxes of 08-09 Press Pass Legends a few months ago and got three redemption, which were expired by two and a half years.

Thought I'd sent them into Press Pass just on the off chance...got all three sent though in a little under two weeks, including to SP sigs.

So Panini and UD if you wanna not piss of your client base too much, maybe relax or extend the conditions of your redemption's, because little things like this mean a lot.

I think Panini have seen the light as I heard an interview with Tracy Hackler and he said Panini were going to try and fulfill expired redemption's now.

i dont see the point in putting an expiration date on a card. Maybe stipulate that 2years or so after the production of the box the redemption might not be valid for the card stipulated on the redemption but that you'd atleast get something of relative value for it even if it's from an entirely different product.

Yeah something in return, it shouldn't matter how old the product is...you brought it from them, it's not our fault they can't organise themselves properly nd insert all the real cards into packs.

i touched on this a while ago wondering what the companies did with the cards where the redemption hadnt been busted yet...good on you for trying! UD wont redeem anything but havent heard anything about panini! great stuff mate makes sense they redeem cos they have the cards sitting there

At this years nationals you will be able to exchange your redemption with a value assigned grab bag

Some go out as replacements if they are a fair while out of date.

KB is spot on. Even if there's no guarantee you will get the same card the redemption is for they should be honoured for something. We are paying them for something.
