Official 2012-13 Offseason thread - trades, rumours, etc

i would take felton over lin anyday! MELO is right, they are over paying him, he showed some glimpses of being very good, and it was just that...a glimpse...can he sustain it for a whole season?...without being racist, if it had of been a black guy, not someone of asian desent, there would not be half the hype there was...it is becoming the norm these days to pay athletes way beyond what they really are worth, lin has not proved nearly enough to gain that sort if coin, same with batum, same with a lot of players...joe johnson's contract is a joke, good player, but he isnt even a franchise player!!!...teams are so scared that they will loose certain players unless they throw stupid amounts of dollars at them...lets face it there are only about 15 OR so players in the league that actually deserve anywhere near the money they get...even then, its ridicuous....

It is impossible to pay him to much when he makes the club 10x more money.
 
Oh wow, Mavs got Mayo?!?!

Strange tho, cos they had about $4m cap, and they're still wanting to sign Delonte West... Still, a nice starter for us! He has a lot of potential, just hard when not given the opportunities.

Am reading it's a 2yr deal, with 2nd being a player option.

Might have to ask my 2K Boys if they're up for another season of the Mavs & Mayo ripping them a new one... lmao!

Great moves by the Mavs, Mayo can finally flourish!

The terms of Mayo's deal were not known. The Mavs had about $4 million in cap space remaining, which is what they could pay Mayo unless the move was part of a larger sign-and-trade deal. ESPN.com

Ha ha, yeah I was worried, but now I'm feeling rather relaxed. I guess it's just the wait, that makes it look like they're not doing anything, but they were, they just weren't telling us.. bastards! ha ha.

well has he officially signed yet lol? Surely the damn Bulls are not stupid enough to match Asik's Houston offer. He is not worth the money they offering him. That woud have freed up money for mayo. Look I jut typed up a good decision they could have made in 10 seconds.
