and if it is only 12 a set that leaves a lot of players out who played in each team.........and given they are rep teams we are likely to have the same player 3 times in differrent sets.........well at least I get to save my money because at the moment I have no interest in collecting this as a complete set.

is it just me or do they look like shit? i like the concept of the jersey cards but ive seen blind people with more creativity on photoshop.
we can just never win, finally a company with some brains on their concepts and they employ a design team full of retards.
not impressed in the slightest. will go for a signed base set and that will most likely do me.

You're right. You will never win if you keep finding the negatives in everything.
So they don't look AMAZING...at least you're getting some nice signed jersey cards.
Some people are never happy, just like all the AFL people that have been crying out for Select to do something different and then when they do they complain about it.
Redemption for match used balls........I can think of a few players who don't seem to need theirs....
As for the design it is always pretty subjective I'm willing to wait and judge once I have the cards in my hands.
The flyer says limited however no where is there any information on ratios or number of boxes / cases. Even the dynamic sets were limited....even if it was 10000 boxes.

I agree Ben, I was expecting ESP to bring out something a lot better, I'm not collecting these cards at all, I hope this is not the end of my card collecting, because if ESP keep bringing out bland cards like this I will have no choice.

I like them, they are differant and the jersey cards probably look a bit drab because they have just placed a colour block (colour coded for the respective team) rather than a peice of jersey as they will have a differant peice of jersey in each.
i will be collecting every eels rep player cards from it for sure, but just like Darth said we cried for something differant, something with rep teams, dual sigs, capt sigs all that stuff and we got it
and the redemption for the 6 Game used balls will be a massive chase by everyone because they will cost a small fortune to buy
the only thing that puzzles me is why Hindy and Hargeaves are the dual sigs????
and the only question i have is "are they numbered"????

Full of whinging moaners????? Reading this thread I can only find one really negative response and that is GIRDS standard response to every release...
The other posts are simply replies about cost / content and appear like constructive comments IMO......

if you like them by all means splurge on the release.
i am entitled to my own opinion. and my opinion is that at graphics team that is being employed should be able to come up with something more appealing than that. anyone who has used photoshop before will know that would've taken no time at all to put together.

Don't look at it as a negative, look at it like your going to save a lot of money at $8.00 a pack and a better chance of collecting Select's Series 2
