So i quit my job today

That's right, I quit my job today and I do not have a new job lined up yet although it's not all that bad.

My official last day is 17th July but my current employer has asked me to keep working on a casual basis after that until they find a replacement or I find a new job. I can take whatever time off i need to go to interviews etc.

They have said they will allow this for a few months but at least I am still getting paid.

As a mate of mine said it's like a footballer asking to be traded yet his club still plays him each week

Probably need to clarify that I will not get paid for the days I take off, my employment status will change from full time to casual with my current employer after 17 July
