okay looking for opinions on this. went to a place today and they can print it and it will come out exactly like a card done by select only issue with this is when they cut it. as i only want one sheet the guillotine they use might damage the card in the process and the guy recommended i get 10 sheets done if i want it perfect. so i might be looking at making a few more before i go get it printed.

basically would it worth being pursued to print it.

i do plan to get it signed thats why there is the lighter bit on the bottom for a black texta

Looks good however there are a couple of things I'd consider.

1. I'd put the logo to the right to off set the name.
2. I'd probably bring his name up to give him more room to sign his name and lighten the area below his name to make the auto stand out.

Otherwise a really nice looking card!
 
just edited it as per your first point must say it looks much better will do the 2nd point tomorrow as it will take me a little while to fix that one up but yeh i do agree with it now.

i must say it looks so much better with the black and white background as opposed to the colour but oh my god is it a pain to do.
 
I don't get it.... companies have teams assigned to design these cards and some of the garbage they come up with... compared to your one
 
id assume 9 would fit on a sheet. since i have 4 weeks off uni im going to try do a few more. i dont plan to make any money on them or anything but just for the safety aspects of it i havent ventured into any in NRL jerseys because select have had the license for NRL cards. so the ones i have done are ARL / NSWRL and QRL related. but now with ESP owning the license i dunno to what the extent of their license is.

Girds I have been reading about how card makers get around this in the USA. Basically if you own the image (or have permission) and the image does not contain a trademarked logo (NRL, CRL, NSWRL, ARL or Team Logo) they can sue you but it would likely be unsuccessful. Here are a couple examples.

Panini Baseball (Topps has the exclusive MLB contract - notice no logos)

Leaf NFL Rookies - #2 Draft Pick RG3 (They dont have a license for NFL at all - once again no logos)

Not saying you should run out and start selling your own NRL cards but this is how trading card companies making cards without licenses get around it in the USA.
 
yeah i wouldnt have the time nor be bothered to put that sort of an effort in all by myself but at least now i can make myself some personal NRL ones to get signed.

because i was thinking earlier about the topps website where you can get some cards printed and how they get around it. and even well the ACPS card show cards.

Hey girds let us know how much it costs including postage wouldn't mind getting a few titans players done later on in the season
