This thread could be a pretty dismal looking thread in a few days time.

I did read that apparently the Nets have offered a qualifying offer to Lopez, but no specs on $$. Humphries sticking around could possibly make/break the backbone of this team. If the Nets don't sign D-Will, and/or chase big in FA or the Draft, they're in serious doubt.

Could be another re-building season...

Nets, Hawks could reach a decision on possible Joe Johnson deal today, sources tell Y! If trade doesn't happen, Nets will push for OJ Mayo.

Hmmmmmm....... whilst I like JJ, I would much prefer Mayo as JJ's contract is FAR too big and Mayo has more upside.

But we got Marshon at SG!! he is the future.. Mayo be better fit for us, can come of the bench and provide scoring i guess.

So looks like we'd be giving up a bunch of expiring contracts for JJ, but Hawks want Brooks included.

Yeah, good thing about this aside from Joe being a stud is Deron should stay now.. i mean Johnson,Brooks,Green, Lopez, Wallace, Hump AINT TO BAD!!



Couple more pieces such as a good backup PG and a shotblocking C and we will be a playoff team for sure!!
