Cardzone, what a joke

Wow!!!...Some pretty strong words have been used against Steve. I think maybe to strong. I have known Steve for about 7 years and have never had a problem with him. Guys, Its pretty simply You don't like his price don't shop with him and defiantly don't talk bulls*** behind his back. So what if his case are overpriced and he is making a good profit...Good on him!!
Its also pretty clear why he wouldn't stock prospects as select wouldn't he happy with it.

I would like to see some of you actually say this to his face and not behind his back.

Regards
Eddy

I am fairly confident that there are collectors here that bag Steve publically but buy cards from him each series ....

Just shows how spineless some people really are .....This is probably an opinion shared by others .....

Jeeezz this is still going. Time to move on from this thread everyone.

I think everything that has needed to be said has been said. Attacks on members and in fighting do nothing for OCT.

Don`t you think attacks on peoples lively hood are worth defending ....Maybe more should have been said earlier to defend Steve or maybe that doesn`t count ....Just bagging someone must be better ....

From personal experience I have had no issue at all with Cardzone. I agree 100% that his prices are way overs, but they are what they are. We all have the right to buy and to not buy. I have made about a dozen seperate purchases over the last few years, most recently about a month ago, and have had absolutely no problem. I only buy as a last resort, individual cards mostly to complete an insert set, these cards have been impossible to find at card shows or on ebay. I actually wish there was a Cardzone in Sydney.
I posted this early in the thread, back in April. Giving it another run to squeeze a bit more out of my 2 cents worth.

I agree, It is what it is.
He must be doing ok with money coz he is sitting on a small fortune even if priced to sell.
TBH though with the changes coming i can only see Select prices going down.

Hay everyone, I think it's time we all kiss and make up.

And maybe we could plan a christmas party this year so we could all get together and meet face to face.

That's meet face to face, not fist to face......

Yeah I agree with most of these comments here. One of the hardest people to do business with, as bad as Upper Deck.

I wanted to stock AFL Series 2 this year for my customers, send two emails rang twice and no answer finally got back to me with Happy to have you as a supplier but you cant have Series 2 AFL this year you MUST buy $3500 worth of Series 1 before you can buy Series 2. What a joke. I couldn't turn over $1000 worth of Champions let alone $3500.

Once again Select loses out on making Adelaide an even stronger market, because a few of my customers wont buy AFL now as other shops charge too high.

Thats where the hobby really disappoints me, Hope Select and Steve Wang lost their distributrship of AFL next season. Give it to a rep in each state :)

That is ridiculous!

Not sure if you guys know, but 99% of the time when purchasing from the wholesaler for the first time, you need to purchase a minimum eg $1000 worth of product or X amount of the item, this is not unusual BUT the only difference i see is that if you want a series 2, you need to purchase series 1, have you asked him if you can get a combination of other products to make up $3500, i know you said he hasn't retrned emails etc, but in your initial conversation was this discussed....

Yeah I had to purchase Series 1 and $3500 worth of to gain access to series 2. Probably because he has a heap of it laying around and needs to get rid of it. I returned emails saying I only wanted series 2 and was happy to purchase $3500 worth of that and then follow with other orders to do the $10000 a financial year as his conditions but told me to re-apply next year.

Yeah going to chat to a couple of the smaller dealers and another company interstate as well, even if profit margin is smaller allows me to still stock a product customers want
