After a long chase and plenty of deals, I received the final pieces of this puzzle last week. I absolutely loved the look of this base set, so I had to get me one!

The fact that there are only 296 possible sets in the world makes it just that little bit sweeter!

Note: This is by far the hardest bunch of cards to get photos of, so I did my best. On some pics, the light helps to show the nice effect in the finish.


10/11 Panini Gold Standard - Full 212 base set, full 255 card inserts set and full 35 card RC Auto set! All cards are /299.

That is one of the best things ever posted on here, and they are cards that look better in person so that collection must be great. You are not trying for the numbered to 25 parallel set, some of those cards are affordable.

You are right about them looking extra nice in hand! I was surprised at a couple of the pics and how they showed the different colours comoing off them!

I was tempted to do a /25 set as well, but it is just too much $$ while PC players as well!

Unreal... one of the best looking sets......do you have the Rodman variations?

Sort of.... I have these:

There is also the Mavs uni variation which is known to be the rarest and to be SP'd to under 10 copies.

There are also 3 variations of Pete Maravich and Patrick Ewing too!

But seeing as they are all numbered the same, you really only need one to have the set complete!
