Girds, Panthers are a disgrace

seriously F**K just listening to that game made me feel like a disgrace for supporting them. Nothing disappoints me more than losing to the eels, especially when a park football player wins the game for them.
 
Have to say as soon as Walsh went off both Austin and Seikja looked like they didnt know what to do. After the game Luke Lewis was telling them to hold their heads up. Parra were just too good.....Hindmarsh was outstanding.
 
im sorry matt but parra were not good at all. it was a game to define who wasnt the shittest, not who was the better team. they were both terrible. harry sjeka may be the only player in the nrl worse than lachlan coote.

i had my money on parra anyway so all i need now is melbourne to win and england in the euro and ill be super happy.

oh and did anyone watch the tv telecast when uasiele kicked the ball into the crowd on full time?
 
I actually gave up after the pinkies went up 18-6... Just checked the website a couple hours later to see how bad it was and dumbfounded... They've done this in so many games this year and come up short. How instrumental was Hindmarsh in orchestrating those tries...

Hindmarsh was bloody good, but can't have hurt the amount of room Daniela was giving him. I had a bad feeling during the game that it wasn't going to end well - but it seems I have that feeling in most games at the moment.
The fact Jennings didn't (or barely) touch the ball in the second stanza of extra-time is ludicrous. I'm not going to throw the young halves under the bus though - you can't expect rookie playmakers to dominate a game when the old heads around them are contributing jack.

What guts me more than our place on the ladder is that we kissed goodbye Flash and now Coote is playing like a reserve grader. At least he took the ball up with a bit of enthusiasm this week.

In Gus we trust, I guess, but I still can't figure out why or how Tighe and Walsh got resigned for 3 years.
 
Well just heard that sandor earl has signed with the raiders, but he was another up and coming promising player the panthers had, the team as whole have just got no plan, dont know what ivan cleary is doing with them but for a coach to go from making grand final last year then this year looking at the spoon would be tough
 
i heard something interesting. austin found out he was getting dropped backed to windsor a couple weeks ago and before it was official he went up to cleary and asked him for a week off in reserve grade to get his confidence back. and cleary said yeah mate thats fine how bout you stay out at windsor for 6 weeks. and it was in front of a few people and really embarrassing supposedly
 
shudder, That cleary response is mentally tough for anyone. Can understand the why bother atitude. Coach needs a lesson on how to get the most out of players, not floor them. Hope Austin picks himself off the floor. there is some talent there.
