If you have played basketball for a long time like I did, you would have seen people using the refs' bad calls as the main reason for them losing a game...

And if someone is thinking that Stern is trying to get Lebron a championship ring, all I can say is that he is doing a p!$$ poor job at it!!! This is Lebron's 9th season... And if you don't know how Stern can manipulate the NBA yet, just take a look at the lottery ping pong balls.

Ok, I'll keep quiet now. 2 more wins to go... LOL! GO HEAT!!!

Yes and no. I have I played ball, and yes I have been in games where the ref (justin bieber look alike) has almost had us hang him and cost us the game, but that's no excuse. Like I said earlier, I dont agree with some calls, but what is done, is done! Let's move onto g4!

Exactly what I meant. Alot of players always look at the refs (for help) if they don't get a call specially if they missed their shots but I know it is hard to ignore the no-call specially if it will cost your team the game. I'm actually one of those people when I was younger but in the end you are right whats done is done.

A lot happens that tv doesn't show. But you also gotta remember, refs don't have slow mo vision, they might miss a few calls, or a lot lol, they are human in the end!

That's what I call, "It's part of the game!"

I just hope that the calls they make favors my team all the time. And I mean that.

You just can't control what the refs do. Sometimes they are also getting carried away by great plays and forget that they have a job to do. They are fans, too!

The refs can really decide the outcome of a basketball game, just ask Tim Donaghy.

You guys are right about the whole hang the refs thing, but think about it this way... What changed from the reg season to now? There are a LOT more bad calls in the later playoff series' than anytime through the season. I have said it many times before, that it is the lack of consistency that is a problem. Any one of the fouls could go either way, but when you compare how soft one call is in a game to another in a different game it just does not make sense!! Whether it is the directives the are getting or the fact that they need new prescriptions for their contacts, who knows?

But what I do know is that even if OKC even the series, I am not really that excited about watching the rest of the series because of it

Yeah im sure Miami's win was down to the refs. Nothing to do with all the turnovers from OKC. ;)

OKC had 11 turnovers
MIA had 12 turnovers

I don't get your comment???

I think want he means is Most of OKC's came in the last Quarter......

Key Thunder moments that cost them the game:
KD gets 4th foul with 5 minutes to go when the Thunder were up by double digits and Coach sits him out the rest of the quarter. Westbrook as well; apparently he wanted to take him out to settle him down but left him for the rest of the 3rd and the Heat just took over and their lead evaporated.

After Thunder go on their usual run to cut the deficit to 3 with a minute to go, the Heat miss a defensive assignment and Westbrook is wide open, not a hand in his face, and he misses.

Two possession ballgame under a minute to play, Thunder inbound the ball straight to Wade unforced error and that was the ballgame.

Well, I'm not gonna blame the refs for that one. We shot ourselves in the foot by all the missed FT's. Additionally, I understand why he had to bench KD, but perhaps a bit long..... and dunno WTF was up with benching WB around the same time and for so long. Those two things is what killed us.

Goes without saying, if we don't win the next game, then we are in deep sh*t!

A ref makes a call, at least 50% of the people will think he is wrong. Poor guys can't win.
I did watch the interview with the reffing boss and he was great. Talked through about a dozen bad calls and explained why. He should be on each week.

LeBron looked pretty damn serious yesterday. His crashes on the offensive boards in the first were just scary!
It was a defensive grind with MIA playing better help D.

Well the supporting cast helped LBJ get the Game 2 win, I believe he got this win himself. One more each to win the whole thing, hopefully the last one is Game 7, if at all

Man the media sucks though. It's the end of the world for a team as soon as they drop a game or two. After Game 1 it was all over for MIA, not it's all over for OKC.

I think wade, bosh and battier had a fair bit to do with the win!! Lebron was amazing in the first half, attacking the rim..

Hate iPhones.. I think wade bosh and battier had a fair bit to say in the win!!! Lebron was amazing in the first half. Attacking the rim...

I think Wade helped big in that one, more so just his energy in the first half. Seemed to fire them up a fair bit.
Bosh was massive with the inside presence and played a big roll too imo.

Good team effort in that one and Lebron's D on Durant to shut him down in the 4th was massive.

this is a pretty cool video.
1. it showed westy wasn't listening
2. shows LeBron's leadership and high basketball IQ - to shift Haslem

don't really agree with the title though. that play sealed the game but wasn't the reason why they lost

If there's anything that we've seen and learnt from the Thunder this post-season, they don't know the meaning of "deficit". 2-0 down against San Antonio, they blitzed the next 4 games in a row to win the series. Double digit leads? No problem. 3 possession game? Boom 40 seconds later...make that one. This is not the time to take them lightly. They still almost stole this game away, Miami are damned lucky to come away with this one. Shooting only 37 percent for the game, and they couldn't make any outside shots. Game 4 things to look for:
- Harden surprisingly to me has not been effective this series, I'm sure he's going to buck that trend next game.
- Bosh coming off a night where he did a lot of intangible plays, getting the offensive rebound at the crucial time, making the good defensive rotation, but his offense wasn't much of a factor. He's going to look to improve his offensive production.
- Wade shot poorly as well but made big plays when they needed it. The and-one in the 4th was crucial and really helped give Miami a bit more room for error. Needs to maintain his aggression for a Miami win or shoot the lights out.
- James can't stop Durant, no one can. He can only hope to contain him. Durant has been shooting a ridiculously high percentage for a Finals series. So James had a little bit of success in the 4th in Game 3. It was team defense that helped that and ball denial.

Game 4 Miami COME ON!!!!!
