right, i need everyone to send me an email on ebay....my username is slobbythegreat, go to contact member and send me something. my email alerts arent coming through and ebay say its not their problem when clearly after 3 email changes it is....someone contacts me, it shows up in my ebay messages, but i dont get alerted via email.
 
it first started 2 weeks ago, everything was going to my work email address, i listed an item for sale (panini booklet patch /10) with a BIN, i received NO OFFERS all day, thought something was up, then woke up sunday and all my saved searches came through, i logged into ebay to see that the card had sold and i had 5 messages from guys asking about it so i changed my email to hotmail, again everything came through but alerts to say id been contacted by a member...im chatting to CS now and they're saying i have to wait another 2 weeks.
 
nah none of that ive checked absolutely everything and added all the addresses ebay gave me to my safe sender list...the first issue is work they've blocked ebay emails by the look of it, i just tried auto forwarding from hotmail to my work. i bid on a pip just then got the email in hotmail but it didnt come to my work address...just sent my self an email from my work address to my hotmail which then forwarded it back to me at my work. so ive solved problem one, problem 2 is the not getting the member alerts. ebay said that it takes up to 4 weeks before i get all the alerts which cant be right because it all happened on that one weekend where EVERYTHING stopped
