So I think it is safe to say that this years finals is what the majority of NBA fans both expected and wanted to see happen this year. I don't think it matters who you're going for, or what team you follow, I doubt anyone could seriously disagree that it's going to be a Finals series for the ages. I think we may be set to watch this Finals match-up repeat itself for a while now, something akin to a modern day Lakers VS Celtics. So what does everyone think, how long will we be seeing this Finals match-up for??

This year was a lockout season remember! I don't think we can expect to see the same sort of thing next year. I know, to be fair, the Heat and Thunder were in the top 4 teams, but you have to remember that the top teams from each conference were eliminated to get there, which mean that both of these teams got beaten more in the regular season.

I think Miami is more likely to be the team that isn't in the finals for multiple years in a row from now because they have too much vested in the big 3. As we saw with Bosh out, they get weak real fast!

While I do think both teams will be around in the WCF and ECF for many years to come, I don't necessarily think they will be the finalists for multiple years from now!

LAL will make some big changes this year, LAC will grow as a team and start to become dangerous, the Spurs and Celtics will be shopping for that 1 extra piece of the puzzle and of course.... the Bulls will hopefully stay injury free!!

Also, the salary cap/luxury tax issue will raise its head in OKC this year too!

Pretty sure they took the Heat to 7 while only averaging 28% from 3 ;)

Remember, they don't need to win the Finals, just the East!
pretty sure he is refering to the likely scenario that they lose a significant amount of their starters
