So series 1 next year will be the Teamcoach style game cards.

Is anyone here going to collect them.

Jury is out for me - they dont particularly appeal. Im guessing they look something like the AFL version below.

Discuss!

I dont really know a lot about them, but by looking at Ebay there seems to be some nice cards in the release not just these ^^^^ sketch type ones.....

In fact it looks like a huge set and probably pretty expensive to complete.

At the moment I'm undecided I feel as if I should collect the set to help the new licensee but at least I'm sure I will collect the Dragons ones as I have an itch that needs to be scratched. Perhaps you should add to the poll Team set only

Based on the AFL prices a St George set might be:

Commons $5
Silver $20
Gold $40

NAB Auskick $5
3D Best and Fairest $10

Captain Wild Card $10
Magic Wild Card $50
Star WildCard $50
Platinum Prize Card

$200ish perhaps that's not too bad.

Cheers
Ross

Valid points Hobo. I dont think the IP auto collectors will like them somehow. They may have to hang out for the Telegraph cards.

I hadn't really thought about IP sigs. Are they what we would call normal sized cards?

I'll wait to see what they are like before I decide but if they are anything like that AFL one I doubt I will.

Even if I say no, I'm sure I'll still end up picking up the Raiders cards.

It would be interesting to hear from some of the AFL members as to what their collecting habits are in relation to these cards.

I was talking to a AFL seller from Mexico early this week and he says they are most popular with the younger kids. Went on to proclaim that Teamcoach is all you find in schools these days - no Select.

Probably an overstatement but reading between the lines they have a pretty good appeal to kids.

Perhaps you should add to the poll Team set only

agree i would have selected team set only

also the tele cards a few years back had something similar with there cards they had attack and defense numbers on the cards and they werent to bad for team sets, obviously this would be different with higher end cards in the packs and everything

I'll be giving them a go to see what there like but not overly keen on the samples shown. They have the same feel as Telegraph cards for me at the moment (by the way, what a heap of junk this latest release is ). More product aimed at kids, more precious cards wasted and winding up in the rubbish.

ill buy a few packs, bust them open, and ill know pretty much straight away if its a yes or a no.
owen, can you put a pic of the back of a common up.
