WAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Obviously shattered the Spurs lost today. It was actually the first game this series I was confident they'd get. I had'nt heard any news all day as I was stuck in a classroom so I knew they must be doing ok (I have some OKC supporters for friends).
Amazing effort by OKC, not just so far this season but since day 1. Scott Brooks could've been sacked when he started out with an awful record. They stuck by him and have created an awesome culture there clearly.
Just too many big shots. As much as Westbrook did provide some of those weak moments for the Spurs to pounce on, it was'nt enough. Spurs just could'nt stop OKC.
Durant is amazing. Harden has been very impressive down the stretch. Just an excellent team.
I can't see T.D getting another ring which is a shame. I was hoping for an old school vets BOS/SPURS match up in the finals.
I'm not sure the Spurs will blow things up over this. They have some very young guys. If the Spurs were to lose T.D, I reckon Pau Gasol would fit in nicely. He's very similar to Duncan at this point.
I'm not so sure Boston (if they make it) could keep up with OKC either but they will be very hungry and might win.
If the Heat make it then I hope OKC roll them.
I said it I think about a month ago that I did'nt think that OKC could get through the Mavs, then Lakers, then Spurs and then win the title (I did say it would be 1 helluva championship), well they are very close now and it is very impressive.
I will still be 1 happy basketball fan if Miami don't win.
And about Jackson, his stock has risen nicely, he really stood up and showed he wanted it. I'd say if the Spurs don't hold on to him then another contender will be calling.
Looking forward to tomorrows game, then the hopefully the Finals. Where as much as OKC deserve it, I still kinda want to see the C's get it.
