A TWO Year Project!

About two years ago I bought a small group of WAFL cards because there was a Mal Brown East Perth card in the lot. As you see by my Signature Block I am a huge East Perth fan and a Lifetime Member I might add

Anyways I got this Mal Brown East Perth card and I discovered it was from the 1966 Scanlens Set.......the fact that Scanlens were predominantly VFL cards made me intrigued by this Scanlens Set that included WAFL Players!

So I decided to collect the whole set!

Little did I know it would take me about $1400 and 2 years to complete

I still have a few cards I want to upgrade but as of tonights mail I finally competed the set so I thought I would share my enjoyment with you all

Wish I could say I have "Found my old sets" but Cricket was my first love so I only had Scanlens Cricket sets! So far I have have managed to put together a 1966, 1967 and a 1975 Scanlens set and I am still working on a 1964 & 1965 Scanlens set

Fantastic Richo, arguably one of the greatest VFL/AFL sets ever released in my opinion. Always liked that they had WAFL cards included as well, some true champions there

Apart from the 1963 (Holy Grail) Set I think this would be one of the MOST popular Scanlens sets!

Yeah the 66's are a great set, even the 1966 scanlens archives re-print set is a absolute cracker of a set. Quality of the cards was some of the best i have seen.

Definitely! I was VERY excited when the last card appeared on eBay
