Yeah, I was really disappointed to see Chris go, but I was expecting Dean to be in the bottom 2, and whoever else was down there would be the one to go... Too many teen-age girls voting IMO, coz Dean is really eye-candy, and thats about it. Decent voice, but the other three were a fair way in front vocally/performance-wise IMO. But I suppose Chris will get picked up by a label now that he's out there, and he'll get quite a good following, definately including me...

he definately sung well, but i wouldn't give him a contract. he's got looks, but honestly he's not an amazing singer. he would have an ok acoustic voice but he's not that brilliant.
damien is an unusual singer with real singing unique talent, hope he takes it out!!
It's all about marketing, and who is more marketable.
Look at Britney, average singer compared to others, but great looks, figure and a bit of dance moves
Bottomline: 76 million records sold
Dean already has a Sony deal inked in and will sell very well.
IMO, the other 2 will make albums but get half the sales Dean will, cause of those damn screaming teeny boppers and desperate housewives

dunno i agree completely. Britney may not have the best voice, but her voice i think in comparison to Dean's is a lot better. Besides, in her day she had the whole pop image which was the main selling idea.
I think Dean will fade after his first album, his voice is fairly ordinary and quite annoying (the accent) after hearing a few tracks.

Reigan Dairy was my favourite after singing Karnivool - Themeta. She also had one of the best voices in the top 12.
But Damien is a freak and far supierior than anyone else, Last week the first song he sang was brillianat and the week befour with Hallejuah and the first track i cant remember and ive also liked when he sang Creep and Wicked Game.

ahahha, glad you agree with me. Reigan was the bomb, bit of an attitude problem possibly, but she was awesome. GO DAMIEN GO!! (I want Damien to win because he's old, he's a father, if he doesn't hit it big, he probably won't have a chance, Jess will have plenty of chances)

They had a report that Jessica signed a record deal with Sony a year or 2 ago which means that she should have not been in the competition. Its one of the Idols rules apparently that anyone with an advantage like this is not allowed to compete. Coincidence, Idol is also run by the same group as Sony Australia, or something like that

this is old news. she was signed 2 years ago after winning some talent competition but she then dissapeared, now she's back. i thought she should not have been allowed, but nothing has happened, everyone has known this since she made the top 12.

his performance at the Opera House was the best performance ever on the show in my book and it would be hard pressed to beat anywhere in the world.
Messum Dorma i think the song is called, it was so cool how he walked to the front of the stage while the backup singers were doin their thing and then he went liftoff. I dloaded the recording and i get shivers EVERY time i hear it.
