Just a thread to see what people think their team needs to do to go one better next near.
Who you'd like to see go, who you'd like to see stay, and who you'd like to see arrive.
How you think your club can afford it.
Why you think they'll be better.
And why you think they'll beat the big four from this year. Spurs, OKC, Bulls and Miami.
And if your team is in the big four from this year, how do they go one step further or repeat ?

I'd Like To See Walton goo

and Hopefully pick up Gilchrist or Beal in the Draft.....

Beating the BIG 4 would be pretty hard for us but we have beaten OKC in the season

Just read on the rumour mill that the Lakers will be chasing Iggy. Would rather see Dwight there, but will def take Iggy as Kobe's wingman!

As a fan of Miami, and not seeing them play very well without Bosh. I can see a need for solid reliable back up. I'm not a fan of KG, but he would be a nice addition in Miami and not contracted next year, all players mentioned would be looking at getting league minimum and a championship ring.
Grant Hill and Steve Nash, others I think might be keen on the lure of a ring, again on a pay cut.
I would also be saying to DW, do you want to win ? Or be like CB and KM and all those others that got nothing and are treated as such for it. DW for me only has about 3 or 4 teams to look at, and it involves a pay cut.

Let go Juwan $1.3, Eddy $1.2 and Turiaf $4.4

They'd have to learn how to win when it counts first.....!

Having said that, A nash or Hill or Garnett would make them a lot stronger then they are now!

Bulls need to stay injury free FFS! Get Rose back to some of his best form, look at moving Boozer and Noah for DH12, Start Gibson alongside Dwight, maybe pickup Nash for minimum and play Rose at the 2 with Rip backing it up! Then a Vet min for a backup PF!

Boozer and Noah for DW, and get Nash. Injury free, that would be dangerous.
JaVale is up for grabs and I think a few clubs would consider him as a very good option.

JaVale is restricted though and I'm pretty sure Denver would match pretty much any offer.

well the magic need another 3 amnesties....

but really i think we need to be doing everything we can to retain dwight after next season, and i think that means signing Deron, even if it means:
*trading away jameer and JJ (the only value another team may want to add) (combined 13mil)
*massive back ended deal
*enterting luxury tax

they need to do this and look for a sucker to take hedo or j-rich and there fat contracts... its a start, they wont compete with OKC or SAS untill they add some team and roll players but this is the core along with anderson, they could improve a lot.

I don't think Orlando has trade value nor the bargaining power to bring a championship team to town.
DW was wrong to stay, they don't the tools and can't afford to get them.
You need three star players or even four on their roster.

IMO KG is more likely to retire after this year than go to Miami.

He wont retire, and he wont win a ring in Boston next year on his current salary. So if he wants to win, he'll have to take a pay cut. With the saved funds, Boston could get themselves a great player and be title contenders.
He wont retire, and depending on his wage, he'll be an asset where ever he goes.
I think quite a few teams will approach him, will be interesting what he chases, a ring or funds, his contract will say.

would love to see Lakers move Gasol and get themself a young big banger ie Manimal or Blair type. Would also love to see them get an pass first type PG either backing up or starting for Sessions. Let Bynum run the inside and Kobe the outside.

My comment was in relation to Miami. If it was only 2 options, retire or take vet min at Heat 100% he would retire.

It's an interesting situation though even if they did win, Ainge could still blow it up. He's unpredictable lol
