2012 Daily Telegraph Cards

Just seen the Telegraph Nrl cards they are all 3D & you need to wear 3D glasses to look at them otherwise they look blurred & distorted. You get 2 pairs of 3D glasses with the folder. I personally don't like them. The quality of the cards is good high gloss finish like the champions. All the sellers of team set are in for a shock as they will have to supply 3D glasses for anyone to look at them.

Rarecollectables will have to sell the team sets for $15 instead of $10.

This brings me to the question should I collect a set for my St George PC or not.......I suppose the answer is yes but they'll look wierd in the folder.

Has anyone been able to go to the telegraph website link that was posted on the 1st post in this thread? I was going to try and just buy the whole set but the page says unavailable. I don't want to have to buy the paper everyday just to get the cards
I'm not a fan of the 3D aspect of them but any set of Raiders cards I'll have to get them & get them signed

thats pretty much the whole idea, you buying the paper, increases sales, increases advertising rates, then an extra $2 for the cards.... In saying that you should be able tp pick them up from most places without buying the paper..

Picked up the free pack this morning. The 3D effect of the base cards is a big fail for me. However the Dally M, young guns and superstars all look really good.

Bit of a mixed bag. Easy to write them off as just appealing to kids but they have supercoach stats on the back of the cards.

Not a huge fan. They actually work quite well with the glasses on but they look like badly printed cards without them because of the red/green offset for the 3d effect.
