Hey all

Great night out at the footy with the old man and hubby. Got a few sigs but walked away very happy and pissed off.

Sig Pig was there was a chinese lady. At first i ingored the guy then he had asked me if i had a better pen as his was'nt walking. Told him to bugger off.

I was getting joel reddy auto (only one card from the 2011 champions). Chinese sig pig then came beside me pushed me out of the way and gave him 20 of the same card to sign. Joel was nice enough but i said to him don't send em they sell em. She said to me i don't understand you and got him to sign the whole 20.

I saw his do it to other players and some just got ticked off and starting walking back in the tunnel lucky i was in a good spot and got them as they were walking back in.

That was it for me i had enough so i gave him a gobful. I told him he was stuffing it for the rest of us that collect cards and tired to get auto's. I said to him why the hell do do you need 20 of joel reddy - answer was for his PC collection - i told him BS and said mate just knock it off and start thinking about what you do cause you'll get caught one day.

I have seen him both games and he is rude and even my dad was ready to punch him out as the way he pushes you aside. (missed arron woods because he did that.)

I wish we could really do something about him. I've seen him at nearly all the titans games that i have been too this year.

I know of the guy your talking about and the chinese lady thats with him, they use rubber bands to hold the cards together right?
quiet annoying when they are both getting 20 cards each per player and majority of the time there all doubles
what makes it worse is this year they are members so they are even doing it at membership events :(

Can we tell someone at the titans marketing he is doing this. I was around the tigers tunnel til around just after the under 20's and then raced up to the titans tunnel and just got flash Gordon a he was going in.
 
I know I gave the players one or 2 of the same cards too but not 20 like he does. I always trade mine and no way would sell them on eBay. I do for for my PC and it's looking great by the way. But when he pushes you an then ask me what I do with mine I told him to bugger off a few times.
 
Hopefully the players will notice who the genuine fans are & who the sig pigs are. Me & Nathraider had a little chat to a few Raiders players about sig pig sellers & they are aware it happens & they even described one of the sig pigs in the Sydney/penrith area that people here don't like. So good news is some of the players do realise us fans from the pigs so hopefully we will be ok & be able to continue our hobby. Would still be great to stop the sig pigs though lol
 
I spoke to the guy after the game. I knew him before he started doing sigs from the Carrara Markets. Because I was in my Titans gear and as such am a representative of the club I refrained from giving him the spray that he deserved for telling you that I sell my cards.

Believe it or not he was at the Hotel the previous day doing the same thing, and believe it or not he thinks that the players have the problem and are arseholes when they don't sign his cards. Benji was nothing but a prick because he signed the back of his card and not the front. Should have seen his face when he saw my Benjis signed on the front.

He does not comprehend that there is an etiquette involved. His exact words to me from the All Stars weekend is "I don't give a fuck about everyone else so long as I get my cards signed." Thats an exact quote. I will be informing the Titans players about him. I am friends with the Murrays bus drivers so they will be informed also. I will catch up to him when I am not in club mode, and trust me, we will have words.
 
You get him Blade! It's pricks like him that ruin it & make it hard for us to get sigs for our PC & enjoy our hobby. Does anyone know his eBay name? I'll avoid ever buying anything from him & tell others to do the same
 
He doesn't actually have an Ebay name that I know of. I am waiting and watching to see where these cards will show up. His original plan was to frame the cards up and sell them at the Markets but the Card shop there is closing down so that screwed his plans up. He does have a Quiksales account, its something like Tigerphil or similar.
 
Yeah i agree. We need something done. I was happy that at least benji signed the back of my card and thought well each to there own. But this guy is a down right joke and Blade i hope you get him. Been trying to catch up with you guys. I'll be at the double header this week.
 
its important the players know who are the sig pigs and who are genuine, its unfortunate you see players not signing, asigning shorter sigs or what not to everyone rather than just sig pigs because they dont want to risk it, some people need to get a real job i guess instead of selling cards!
 
I got one Sharks card of Jeremy Smith signed the other week & he signed his full signature which was good as I think he must have noticed he has never seen me before so he did a good sig instead of just the JS I've seen on eBay from sellers but yeah some other players like Slater only use there short sig for everyone or as I've heard Billy call it his eBay signature lol

He denies it but I know him better than that. I believe your version of the story, not his. He saw the whites off my eyes in anger and I don't think he will be saying anything about me anymore. He tried to tell me you were a seller but I told him that I am certain you aren't and that throwing accusations around like that would piss alot of people off and he would end up with a busted nose before too long if the behaviour kept going.

Hey Blade

I see him every titans game and the next time i see him i will be saying something too. Also like you i don't sell the cards i love to trade them to other people. Why make money off players signing cards and stuff it for the rest of us. If he comes near me at the next game and tries to say anything i'll report him too
 
I was VERY surprised to see our old Sydney Mate "Mick Ennis" at canberra Stadium last night...
Standing in the Rain, Badgering the players after they got a touch up!!
Hope he didn't have to ride his pushbike down??
 
Yeah I saw him there too, all the players think he is a pest & know he sells. He kept coming up to us asking if we had seen certain players. I wanted to tell him to fuck off but resisted the urge lol
