$200 is the MAPP I believe - which means the minimum price allowed to sell it for as directed by Panini. So they will all be selling for around that.

All products can be hit or miss mate! At least these are a quicker break

One fella on here busted 4 boxes (2 at a time). each time, one box was a dub and one box was awesome. And my awesome, I mean he pulled a $3K + card in one and around a $700 card the second time!

So can have a good hit in them!

I read somewhere sometimes there is a meeting of SA collectors there? Anyone know when the next one will be?
Im only literally just getting back into the hobby, bought way too many boxes already

No I haven't got a particular player or anything yet! I hope to start a PC soon though!
At the moment its just anything that looks good really and if I like the player, I suppose the big names like Jordan, Kobe, Bird, Magic, Lebron etc catch my eye.
Or perhaps ill chase a team - not sure yet
I might try and keep it higher end though.

Hi dude.. take it from me im fairley new but have been smashing the NBA packs. Do not buy from cardzone unless you want to pay double the price! If you really ant to start some NBA get out to the Dandenong Markets on Friday or Saturday and See Malcom. His gear is much sweeter and new and 1/2 the price! alsso much more selection. If you are going to shop with the asian guy at Cardzone then get the 09/10 Certified or the 10/11 certified or perhaps the Contenders 09/10 packs he has.. ? theres not much else by thepack out there and at least n contenders 09/10 there are nice on card autos and at least 1 foil insert per pack.

Your best bet as a new Collector honestley would be to spend about $65-$70 for a complete box of Hoops or Panini Update (guranteed hits)with my man at the markets above...im serious cardzone is twice the price!

Got a box of this years Past and Present on the way from DA, should be fun.. im long over due for a box.

Me and a mate looking to put about 500 each together next week and get some more stuff, REALLY love the look of the new Limited thats released next week... want a case so bad but iv heard Tax is really expensive if you go over 1000 from DA CARD WORLD..

Any ideas/recommendations ?

In my head im saying inserts
but you cant go wrong with auto's...
Its just so hard to tell whether UD, Panini or topps which is better i dont want to pay top dollar and walk out with a Volvo LMAO

Good first box I would recommend would be Past and Present, 20 packs 4 hits per box 3 autos and 1 jersey. Nice inserts as well.

Another good box coming out in 1-2 weeks is the new Panini Limited one pack box.

Looking to get back into collecting. I just had a look at the Past & Present cards as advices above and jeez they are ugly! Great inserts but just ugly cards IMO.

What's everyone's opinion on the 2009/10 Panini Season Update box? Looks value for a new starter? Are there any redemptions? If so, have they expired?
