The fine print is correct- we all know that they get extras cards signed in case some get damaged.How would you like it if you got a Top Prospect that had been damaged during packaging or transport & was told sorry we don't have anymore to replace it.
Check with any card producer they all have back-up stock & if not required none of them release them they just go into archive.
Whats wrong with that very professional in my opinion.

Whilst I feel Pretty Lucky, I like to think it's reward for my passion and support...
Like I said, I speak to Woodsy frequently, He knows I'm from Canberra and he sees me at all
the games (Including State Cup). Always takes time out to chat and thank me for coming up, He knows i'm into the Cards and offered me one....
Great kid, Clubman through and through, Already is and Will continue be a very respected figure in the game for a long time to come!!

I'm sure if you owned select you would keep No 1 for yourself. Nothing wrong with that It's not a secret. They call it Museum stock.

In all honesty if i owned Select , i would keep number 1 as well, maybe number 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15 etc etc. as well
