Hey Guys,

I am thinking of purchasing a glass display cabinet for my Higher end NBA cards. I know a few of you on here also have done this and I think I looks absolutely wicked. So if anybody has pictures of their collection in theses display cabinets I would not mind having a look at some to get a few ideas.

Regards
Justin

i also have three of those Ikea cabinets they are good and cheap just dont hold a heap of cards if u have many, i have my cards laying flat, going to get some stands to hold the cards upright to see if i can fit more in. i have the dark brown ends and fit into my decor quite good and its keeps the missus happy :)

They sound great Bill. Would you be able to post a couple of pictures up?

yeah mate sure can, also i put most of my cards in one touchers with UV protection to protect the cards from the sun, if ur cabinet gets sunlight i suggest u have to do this! i will take some after work.

Yeah I was thinking about the whole sunlight thing. Will have to get some uv one touches then. Also are they easy to put together?

yeah they are easy ( i have put three togther)if u follow the instructions lol they are quite heavy to carry and u got to be carefull with the glass aswell and u need a helper, ps dont ask ur gf or wife get a mate to help :)

If you are handly with the tools, it is easy enough to make your own display cabinet to attach to a wall.

Here's my attempt...and cost me under $100 to make:

I recommend those DETOLF cabinets - I have 3 in total, but i'm yet to set any up haha. They looked great in store though.
IKEA had them on sale here in Adelaide on Anzac week for $99each. + I signed up for a monthly discount on the website of $15 (just sign multiple people up).
So i ended up getting them for $84 each! :)

I should mention that I bought them to display my figurine collection and not cards. However, I think theyd look great if you got some stands like Bill said.

u got them cheap Nick well done the Ikea in Perth had them out of stock for six months so i had to wait and pay full price:(
Dale they look awesome mate well done!

Just gave ikea a call after Bill mentioned that he had to wait 6 months for one of his I was a little concerned about how much stock they wold have. Turns out they have 57 in stock at the Osborne park shop :)
