I've been away from the Basketball side of collect for a while and have noticed that my precious eX Collection has skyrocketed.

I am now considering selling off some of my Essential Credentials as I have the "Big 3", Jordan, Kobe and Lebron.

I was wondering is there much interest in these on this website? I know I could sell them on eBay for really good money, but the prospect of posting such a high investment overseas scares me.

What's everyone's opinions? Should I even Sell?

Hang on to the cards mate but if you really need the coin then stick to selling through this site. I personally refuse to sell cards on Ebay because the seller no longer has protection from people that know the system.

The only way is up for these cards so I would keep them.

i would hold onto them unless you need the cash..

or unless you have the MJ green. I got the orange one so would complete my chase.

Selling on eBay would get more $$ probably, but exponentially increase the risk of getting screwed, even with registered posts it's a gamble. If you need the $$ sell some here first then take a punt with leftovers on eBay maybe...

Mate, it's a beautiful set. If you're not pressed for cash, keep them boarded up for a while - it's a PMG-like appeal these have. That said, if you change your mind, I'll take the Bogut Credentials Future /59 if you're sitting on it...

hey leigh have you had a dodgy experience recently? i am in the middle of having $210 in limbo for over 3 weeks on paypal because of a sale that went sour.

When I was collecting AFL it was rampant, people constantly claimed that they were not receiving their items and that's with registered post.

All they have to do is say that the parcel was empty with nothing in it and they win, it's pretty amazing.

Dislike button!

I ended up getting a resolution; 50% refund with no package to be sent back to me. Pretty shitty but oh well.

I won't see through ebay anymore because of this ish. Every sale is to someone I trust through paypal or paypal gift if i've never dealt with you before. Sucks but its the only way to protect yourself as a seller these days, im lucky I have an unblemished feedback rating so people trust me to do the whole paypal gift thing.

I agree, if you don't need the money now, I would hang on to the set. It's a beautiful set and there aren't many produced. It will be a set that will always be in demand.

Agreed Nick, the only selling done through Ebay for me is household items now that need to be picked up and that is it. I'm amazed I have been able to keep a 1500 100% feedback rating on Ebay with all the card buyers that have tried to rip me off.

keep us posted Ben on what your going to do.
