I believe the Lakers didn't play with the same intensity in game three as the first two. I feel they were riding out Artest's suspension. They will win the next, maybe drop game five and win game six.
Anybody else feel the same ?
If this round goes six games, in that fashion, is it mocking the suspension ?
Even if this goes seven games, they will have Ron back and win game seven.

LOL

Kobe and the Lakers are the last people/team that would ever throw a game...... Back to the conspiracy theory websites for you!

I don't think they threw the game, I do however think this series will conveniently go 6 games.

I reckon the Lakers will want Ron back to lock in on Durant.

Either way I think OKC will get past L.A.

Be interesting to see what happens today in the game. I don't think Lakers will want it to get to 2-2. They should turn up today and win. Either way Ron would only miss 1 game at the most against OKC if L.A win out in this series. That's not too bad going, especially as it's in OKC.

have to disagree there man, no one ever throws a game, especially in this game because you never know what can happen.

I watched the game and Denver was just firing on all guns and simply ran L.A out of the stadium. Even the commentators said that Denver can sometimes do that, they just don't do it often enough.

Exactly what happened. The Lakers will will take it 4-1 though, Unfortunately. :P

Only a Laker fan would come up with stuff like this...... "oh we're so good, we can afford to throw games". Sheesh.... give me a break!

WOW did someone predict this ?
I think this would have been my strategy during this time in LA.
Ron will be back for the next round, expect to see LA wrap this up in game six.
Sometimes losing is winning.

Are you high?

Are you saying they PURPOSELY missed those last 2 3's?

All I can do is LOL at you

You can laugh, but what I said was that the Lakers losing games 3 and 5 would be highly advantageous to them.
That's how it turned out, now for the Nuggets to beat them, it will be with a full strength LA team.
Everyone knows, well LA fans, that if this was a 7 gamer that Kobe would take over and win game 7. So LA didn't need to hurt themselves in games 3 and 5, the two games they lost.
I'm not saying they set out to lose. But if they did, they didn't have to stress as though it was the end of the world, in fact it was the start for World Peace.

Artest or World Peace or whatever his name is does not make or break this team! He averaged career lows in every category this season, You're reading into this far too much and perhaps you should consider professional help.

Pretty much what you're saying is that the Lakers have been in COMPLETE control of this series and choose whether they lose or not, which is completely ridiculous. The Lakers are NOT that much better than the Nuggets they only finished 3 games ahead through the regular season.

It is completely irrelevant whether it's a full strength Laker team or not, the Nuggets are missing 3 key players one of which is a starter and have 3 guys playing with injuries. So they are hardly at full strength either.
