is now the time ?

I also think it's the ideal time to sell the Harden cards, before the secound round would be a nice timing imho

Not fan of the player, but he's a really special one, and with this left hand and his proportion to attack the basket, he'll be a double-digit scorer for a long time, with nice oher stats overall

Garth made great suggestions, but I think you should begin with the 2nd year stuff to sound out the potential buyers' mood

Yeah, I knew you were fielding interest for a fair while on other places, but didn't know how committed you were to the idea?

I guess the questions I would need to know before any suggestions are:

Have you had any/much interest in your eBay listing? And any real offers? and

How much did you outlay to get to this point?

These are personal questions that you wouldn't want to advertise, but without knowing them, how can anyone know whether or not it could possibly be a worthwhile time to sell up?

I do like a couple of the ideas noted so far though. Try selling the higher numbered stuff first or the sophomore stuff. Just to get a feel for the popularity and prices?

The other thing is that I think it would be impossible to keep part of the PC. 1 or 2 cards for sure, but I would find that if I had a fair few cards of him still, that I would always feel like it is incomplete!

btw, I think you shoud try to reach deals off-ebay

with Paypal & ebay fees, you can easily lose a lot of money in transactions :(

so maybe some BIN / best offer auctions, and then see with the potential buyers if they're willing to do it off-ebay

Hats off to you Jared, I don't know if I could make that call! Well done on one of the most impressive PC's i have seen! Your PC actually helped pursue me to start collecting again!

Will definitely be checking out the sale thread ;)

Good luck with it all mate, let us know how it goes.

Just keep in mind, if you are doing the 2nd, 3rd year stuff first to test the waters, OCT probably isn't the best place to get the feel for it! ;)
We are tight mofos here! Aussies love a bargain!

the lower end stuff i will float here for a while, but the higher end stuff will be on ebay this week.
im also putting this on blowout and HK.

i wont go for much less than ebay prices though..

yep, havent forgotten you mate. PM with what ones you want..

Good luck with your decision Jared but considering that OKC have not won a title just yet it could be a bit early to sell !
Maybe just curb your spending for a while and hopefully you sell that ebay listing ! After all, I thought $24k would be enough for a deposit on a house

lol last time I went to the bank few months ago they told me I need 20% deposit. IN melbourne 20% is alot of money considering the overpriced houses here haha.

This also might give you an insight in to past 6 man winners and where they are now. All of whom would've seen some hobby love around this time.

I personally really rate Harden, he could certainly start in the League easy and produce. But the guys that really go up in value long term are champions and MVP's. Of course I could be wrong but It was interesting to have a look.

Here's a look at the last 6 winners of the 6 man of the year. Most of them were on very good and winning teams. A couple had even won championships the year before.

2011 Lamar Odom, 2010 Jamal Crawford, 2009 Jason Terry, 2008 Manu Ginobili, 2007 L. Barbosa, 2007 Mike Miller.

How can you hate Harden!? Wow!

Sell singly. If you do not need $ urgently, then better to sell 1 by 1. Then slow build up $ butmake sure you save it. Think about it, as a collector if 3 or more high end stuff came up, you would prob only go for 1 or 2 because getting them allmay break the bank, but if they came up every few weeks you are more likely to go for them all over the time. also it will spread out the buyers that theuro will allbid the one item up each time.

yep, thats what im gunah do..

release them onto the market one by one ever the next month..
that way i wont flood the market..

and yes, the lot is off the market..

disappointed to see you selling but it if you want to capitalise on his form then now is the time however like ersk said it has to be a slow leak. this is the problem with player collectors who want to earn $$ on their stuff. it cant be done at once it needs to be over a period of months. Id put them all up high end the whole thing....whack a stupid BIN on them and list them for 30 days. that way you will get offers galore from people trying to get a bargain or jump on the beard bandwagon. you dont really have time to mess about. if KD goes down like rose then they chances of winning slide and if they happen to get knocked out then no one is going to care about harden. good luck though!!

Good luck in whatever you do mate! If the money is going to something that you really need for life, go for it. But I'd keep 1 or 2 cards, for the memories!! And now is the perfect time to sell, OKC are playing amazing! So is Harden!
