Starting May 1, the
maximum standard final value fee for Auction-style listings will increase from $100 to $250. At 9% of the final sale price, the change will increase final value fees only on sales over $1,111 per listing. This change applies only to sellers who do not have an eBay Stores subscription.

The 9% is just to use the listing system, then you get murdered again when you get your money through PayPal. If you want to turn that money into AUD, there you go again, they dip their hands in for another 2% on the exchange.

.................and generally give you a lower than market exchange rate just to make sure you feel the pain !!!!
